Avalon Hearing Aid Centers, Inc.Logo Design Contest

Hello everyone!
I am looking forward to a good collaborative effort resulting in a beautiful logo that communicates what Avalon Hearing Aid Centers is all about. Our practice is not so much about hearing aids as it is about the improved quality of life that comes with better hearing. We reconnect people to the richness of life. We are about community and long term relationships.
Avalon is 21 years old and just moved into a new state-of-the-art AND state-of-the-heart facility. It's time we updated our logo.
We like the spiral that is produced by the golden mean. this spiral also memics the cochlea, the organ of hearing. That might be a good place to start.

All lookig good so far. Staying with the colors is good. We have a lot of promotional material in these colors and want to stick with them. New ideas, different from mine would be welcome. Show me your best please!

First let us thank you for your entries. All are first rate work. We are coming down to the finish and would like to offer a few ideas .
Can anyone try do a heart with the left half being solid and the right half formed by a 2.25 turn spiral?
If you have any questions message me and i will respond before retireing in about three hours.

You all have such good creativity...it's the last 25 hours and we really like the concepts of HEART, A PERSON and the 2.25 turn spiral which represents the inner ear....would you all play with this...Also, we like it left of the AVALON name and present it as an icon at the left of the Avalon name....Have fun and we are anxious to see your work!

Such good work! We will now run the finalist by our staff to get their input and anounce a winner by Thursday. The final logo may need to be tweeked a litte, color and such. We are very excited about the excellent entries we have to choose from. All of you did a wonderful job!
