Really like your style! Entry#14 is definitely the direction we want to go. We would like to see a different graphic on the left, either something that plays off the A and V letters (almost hidden in the imagery), or something more media and medical. Think, we manage your media and AV and make your meeting a success. We would also like to see more play on the x where it's connected to the R. We like the 3D treatment and very polished look.
Entries #15 and 16 are not easily identifiable as to what we do.
Man, you're good! I like your AV-Rx font treatment better in Entry#14. The font in Entry #17 needs to be a bit more refined. I would like to see an alternate version of the A and V on the left side, or one that incorporated a medical/media image along with an A and a V. I don't like the Rx in the graphic circle in Entry #18.
Entry #22 is very intriguing to us. I like the play on the AV in the left graphic. Perhaps we could add an element of the green color to the little circle head or somewhere to tie into our parent company's logo colors. We would rather see the x be an extension of the R, something like you did in Entry #17, but doesn't have to be exactly the same way.
Entry #14 still remains as our number one, because we like that treatment. But we don't like that particular abstract graphic. We don't mind abstract, but we would like it to be based off some medical or pharmaceutical or media imagery.
Entry #24, my manager thinks the symbol matches too closely to Motorla. What if the A shape in the circle, was more rounded on top, like the A you use in AV? I'm also not crazy about the use of the green. It's part of our parent company's logo, but I prefer the all blue entry #22. But since we need to incorporate green somewhere, maybe there's an alternate place??
Could you do a version combining the left graphic from Entry #26 with the AV-Rx text from Entry #22, or a version just separating the A and V into distinct letters.
Entry #29 is almost there. We're concerned it reads Px not Rx. Can you pull the x down more, or somehow make the letter R more recognizable. Can you also slightly darken the AVRx blues, more like entry #27.
Tied between entry #30, #31 and #33. I like entry #30 because the x is close but slightly off, since it's very easy to read, but still has an appealing graphic treatment. As a designer, do you think making a version with the x pulling in some of the green coloring would work? Just a thought, but consider it.
I'll consult with my colleagues on Monday about the designs more, so probably not much more feedback until then.
We really like Entry 33. One adjustment that we want to see: Can you narrow the font so that the "R" in Rx looks more circular. Right now, the R looks like a P. In addition, can you pull the x closer and more under the R. (see entry No. 36 for reference).
Entry #48 is right on. My only other suggestion would be to put a little line break between the R and the x. Keep them in the relative same position, just eliminate the connection with a white line. Don't move the x to the side like entry #30 though.
For entry #112, can you make the V in AV-Rx a green like you have in the icon? What if you make the white line between the R and x more rounded, like you do with the white spacing in the icon. Might provide some symmetry.
We all still really like entry #76. Can you scale down the icon slightly though. We don't want it overpowering the name. Could we also see a version of this one with the V in AV-Rx being green like you've done in entry #129?
I don’t like where the “break” is occurring on the x in entry #135. It looks like an upside down y. My opinion is that the break needs to occur in the same place as entry #112.
Can you try a version of rotating the logo in entry #129 90 degrees?
Wow, we're really getting into some very minor and subtle changes. I like entry #147 the best with the rounded top of the V.
Just for fun (and it is fun, right?), we added the hyphen to the name because that's the website we could get. Could you just show me entry#147 without the hyphen? If you can't, no worries!
Man, you are too good, and QUICK! I can barely keep up with you. I think entry #151 is it!!! Thanks for sending a version without the hyphen too, that gives us something else to consider. I prefer #154 to #156, as that's a bit too crazy, even for us :)
Alright... so the boss has spoken and has ranked entry #151 in his Top 5. I know you've provided numerous variations, and we're asking for a few more. If you can play a bit with the x in AV-Rx and make it more swooping/swishing rather than just straight across that may help. Perhaps you can review our Top 5 and see what styles we're leaning towards.
Also, the icon is great, and is definitely our safe bet, but we'd love for you to play with it artistically a bit. It doesn't necessarily have to be an A and a V, since our name says that, but we like that style.
Congratulations Max, we've chosen you as our #1 designer. The rules seem to be we can still ask you to submit entries through the judging phase. We won't put you through too much, but could you make a few subtle revisions. Since you're the designer of both our current first and second choice, can we get revisions for both?
If so, for both entry #212 and #183, can you submit without the tagline so we can see how it looks. For entry #212 we would like to play a bit more with the coloring and styling of the icon. I know there was a designer who submitted a style close to yours that was withdrawn, but his coloring was more blended, more 3D than yours. We also want the icon to look a bit less like two check marks, and more like two interlocked symbols.
Entry #242 is most likely our top choice. We like the way the icon points and flows into the words. Can you show us this version with the tag line back in as well. Any other tweaks you feel necessary?
Ok, so our final choices are entries #246 and #247, currently ranked #1 and #2. Great, great job!
My boss would like to see a bit more play on the A in AV-Rx though. I know you can't copy other designers, but he referenced entry #231. He would like more "wave" in A.
When you make this edit, resubmit both, with the tag line, and then we should be set.
