#2: I like the look of this one. Are you able to make it look a little more Australia specific by using an Australian looking bird such as a cockatoo, kookaburra, kingfisher, wren, wagtail?.... the bird you have used is very european looking
I do like the idea of following the Nikon colours as I am certainly a fan of Nikon gear!
I would like to see these on a dark background as my photography website looks much better with a dark background... maybe you would need to enclose it somehow so that the black feather, icon, etc don't dissapear into the darkness?
#11 is also very good, but I think it is a little too 'busy' compared to the others because of all the detail in the bird and the fact that the bird is quite dark/doesn't stand out as much as in the other designs.
#9 : Are you able to put a slight shadow behind the bird as you have done in #2? Also, The white breast of the bird in #2 makes it look great, do you think you could do this in #9? I'm not sure if it would work as well with the dark background, but would like to see how it looks.
I would also like to see the 'Australian Nature Photography' text out to the right hand side I think, With emphasis on 'Nature Photography'
The grey border around the outside has given me a little idea. I don't know if it's possible or if it would look any good.... but could you keep it how it is, but make the background look a little like it was made of glass?
I love the layout of the text in #21 as well. Although I am drawn a little more to having it not in bright white. Is it possible to change the colour of the text to fit in with the logo better? Maybe with a nice, subtle gradient or something? I'm not sure what colour I would like it to be. Something that's not TOO bright, but still stands out nicely from the background.
EDIT: My finacee has suggested that maybe a coloured outline around the white text would look good... maybe an earthy colour that fades into the white?.
#22 is also very good, but I think I like the effects (grey border, shadow under bird, etc) of #21
#25 & #26 - If I was to use something like this I think it would need to have more than just the letter 'A' in it as an 'A' by iteself doesn't mean much.... maybe add a 'NP' to the right (coming out of the yellow square)... But I think I prefer having the whole text. The great thing about #21 is that I could use the icon by itself or the icon + text for different applications.
#28 : I've never really considered anything other than black/grey for the background of my website, but that brown colour is georgeous !! Very well done.
#29 : This would look fantastic as a logo on shirts/products etc but doesn't appeal as much for website header. Choosing only one design could be difficult!
As much as I love the brown background, I don't think I could get it to look great with my website design. (I'm great at coding... bad at designing :) )
