What We Do
Arncliffe Aurora Football Club Inc was established in 1991 by local members of the community to promote a social sporting environment for the youth of Arncliffe and its surrounds in the Bayside Council area.
The vision of the founding members reflects the ‘Fajr’ spirit of many of our communities' local members and immigrants.
The word “Fajr” or Aurora, is the Arabic word defined as the rising of the sun, reflecting the birth of new opportunities and the blue sky, representing limitless ambition, hence the yellow and navy strip of Arncliffe Aurora.
This spirit is a key ethos of Arncliffe Aurora’s mission to foster and nurture a new generation of youth by achieving their footballing objectives in a warm and friendly environment.
We have grown from the original five established teams in 1991 with 75 registered players, to fielding over 40 teams ranging from U6s to Premier League with more than 700 registered players.
Today we have players, managers and committee members of various backgrounds believing and contributing to the Aurora spirit.
We are immensely proud of our history, but also celebrate our position within our community and within the wider Australian society.
We are eternally grateful to all those that have contributed to the success of the club through their passion, commitment and ongoing support.
Our home ground is the picturesque Arncliffe Park which has nurtured generations of local football players over the years, and through the club we strive to provide local children direction in both their physical conditioning and life discipline.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Aurora FC – Logo Design Brief
About Us:
Aurora FC (formerly Arncliffe Aurora) is a community-driven football club, established in 1991, with deep roots in the St George and Bayside region. We are passionate about the game and inspired by the global football stage from the English Premier League to the UEFA Champions League. Aurora FC represents ambition, unity, and the love of football.
Design Inspiration:
Our new logo should capture the spirit of “Aurora” the dawn, the rising sun, and the light that symbolises new beginnings. The design should feel modern, strong, and timeless, reflecting our aspirations to grow into a leading football club in New South Wales.
Design could also have features for the "year established, soccer ball design, sun or rising sun".
Design style: The logo should feature a shield or circular design consistent with the styles seen in world football, similar in shape and presence to those used by leading clubs in the English Premier League and other major leagues in Europe.
Current shield layout on our logo needs to be improved, I have provided some shields and circle logos to use as ideas in relation to layout.
Core Themes:
Fajr / Rising Sun: Symbolising light, renewal, and hope.
Football Identity: Strong connection to the game energy, teamwork, and passion.
Modern European Influence: Inspired by leading clubs in the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, and Champions League.
Professional & Versatile: The logo should look equally strong on jerseys, digital media, signage, and merchandise.
Requirements:
Club name: Aurora FC
Primary concept: Fajr / Rising Sun
Style: Modern, sleek, and globally inspired
Deliverables: Vector logo, EPS file in full colour and monochrome, suitable for digital and print use and PDF + JPEG + PNG
Tone & Feel: The logo should embody professionalism, pride, and inspiration, something players, supporters, and the community can rally behind. It should feel like it belongs among the great football crests of the world, while remaining true to Aurora FC’s community roots and forward-looking identity.
