Could we see this one modified to use the orange dot inside of the "A" but also as the color of the 8 dots on the outside of the icon?

Same here... can we see the dot inside of the A and the smaller circles on the logo in a Seattle Seahawks green?

Scratch that, instead of seahawks green.... a sky blue color for the circles

I like where were going!

I'm fan of the "A" and color scheme contained in #42  but I like how to spokes connect in #36. Could we combine the two designs with the grey circles on the icon smaller?

Regarding the spokes... Can we have them bisect the white space of the "A" outline in the icon instead of trailing on the inside arch?

I really like what you've done with entry #62, can you incorporate the blue color on the "O" letter icon? Im not sure if you can see the other entries but entry number #48 has our favorite design for the "O"

#61 is the leader of the pack! The only real thought for it is to reduce the size of circle by about 25%

I can make the similar "o" with hexagonal and 6 circles around it. because it's your idea and there's sketch in the brief.

but I can't fill the middle with blue colour because I will break designer rule here regarding copying other concept/idea.

I have one question... I googling about octo roctor and they are 8 sides.. why your sketch show only 6 sides?

which circle that need to resize down? the small or the center?

If you dont mind, I have opinion about the design that you need.

I know you want a stand alone "A" as identity. but you also want the octo rotor.

in #63 I see a logo that's too complex and have dual identity. the roctor and the triangle both have different feel. both have same strength in the logo.

in #53 the logo is good, but the type has no identity that can be created as standalone "A" like Uber.

#61 has perfect concept. the logo stronger than the "A" right? but the A itself can be placed stand alone because the feel/concept/shape is similar with the main logo... the connection is in the triangle (subtle A)

I agree. I like #61 the best... as I understand you do.

My only change at this point would be to make the dots that surround the A a touch smaller. I think the dots are just a bit to big.

Our company has both hexarotors and octorotors. The sketch was a quick drawing for a mere concept rather a 6 vs 8 opinion.

Keegan,
Your "A" concept is still at the forefront. I'm up in the air on the dots that surround the "A" in the icon portion of the logo. Do you have any other ideas for shapes that may work instead of circles?

Logo Designer
not trying to be pesimist, but the circle is the best because it represent the shape of your octo-rotor. there are many shape that can be better, such as hexagon, triangle etc. the logo will be better in visual but weaker concept.

actually that is the same reason why I make circle in the middle rather than hexagon like on your sketch.

but if you have any idea you can tell me, I will try to visualize it even I don't agree with it :)

Thanks for your input. I see what you are saying.

Could we use multiple rectangles instead of circles to surround the center circle ?
