I'm fan of the "A" and color scheme contained in #42 but I like how to spokes connect in #36. Could we combine the two designs with the grey circles on the icon smaller?
Regarding the spokes... Can we have them bisect the white space of the "A" outline in the icon instead of trailing on the inside arch?
I really like what you've done with entry #62, can you incorporate the blue color on the "O" letter icon? Im not sure if you can see the other entries but entry number #48 has our favorite design for the "O"
If you dont mind, I have opinion about the design that you need.
I know you want a stand alone "A" as identity. but you also want the octo rotor.
in #63 I see a logo that's too complex and have dual identity. the roctor and the triangle both have different feel. both have same strength in the logo.
in #53 the logo is good, but the type has no identity that can be created as standalone "A" like Uber.
#61 has perfect concept. the logo stronger than the "A" right? but the A itself can be placed stand alone because the feel/concept/shape is similar with the main logo... the connection is in the triangle (subtle A)
Keegan, Your "A" concept is still at the forefront. I'm up in the air on the dots that surround the "A" in the icon portion of the logo. Do you have any other ideas for shapes that may work instead of circles?
not trying to be pesimist, but the circle is the best because it represent the shape of your octo-rotor. there are many shape that can be better, such as hexagon, triangle etc. the logo will be better in visual but weaker concept.
actually that is the same reason why I make circle in the middle rather than hexagon like on your sketch.
but if you have any idea you can tell me, I will try to visualize it even I don't agree with it :)
