I like this one. Can you keep the green outline on the bottom of the tree so it's more defined or just move the road to the right some? We are getting close! Thank you so much for putting up with me!
Thank you! Okay, let's stick with black for both fonts. I didn't think it would look good with ANREP being lighter, but one of our Board members had strong feelings about that. I like this tree/house layout the best, but still doesn't feel quite right to me. What about a tree-lined street or something like that? Or have the tree in the foreground with a road getting narrow as it goes back...maybe still include the house on the side of the road? We can try a few different options to represent the "built environment", but if it doesn't work out, we can go back to the two trees...
If you are, can we go back to the font for the spelled out portion on the logo currently ranked 3rd and make it black again (sorry!)? And then can we see either the tree in the foreground in front of the house or moving the tree (can add another since they will be smaller) to the left and put the house on the right. We wanted to add the idea of the "built environment" to our logo, but since we read left to right and top to bottom, we don't really want the house to be the first thing people see. And the last comment was trying out ANREP being slightly lighter lighter color and having the spelled out portion be darker...
I do like the fisherman facing this way...can you squeeze him closer to the fish so he's not so close to the edge?
Can we try a house in place of the person or some form of a building to represent the built environment? Like, keep the tree, but add a house where the person is?
I know i'm getting insane here, but good news...i'm about to leave for the day. I like the addition of the person with the tree, but hard to make out what it is when small. Can you maybe do a person looking at the tree...like inspecting it? And then because I'm OCD and then both the fisherman and the people are on the same side of the natural element, could you do a mirror image of the fisherman to flip him on the right side of the fish?
And then I like the all black text afterall, lol. More to come tomorrow! Will likely be asking to see some different style fonts below the ANREP just for some options. We are getting there I promise!
You think it would be too much to add people to the tree section? Kind of like we have in our old logo with people talking to each other or an adult teaching a kid?
Hmmm okay I see what you mean. It gets to be a lot when you make the spelled out portion bigger and bolder. I still like this version here. Could we just see this one but with the text in black instead of gray?
And then, did you see my comment about the human component (see above)...?
Another good comment came in and that is that our logo is lacking the human component or built environment (which was incorporated into our old logo)...You think you would be able to add a person either with the trees or perhaps a fisherman/woman with the fish? Might be too much, but curious to see if we can incorporate the human component somehow or perhaps a house/structure in with the trees? I'm open to your designer opinion or vision here...
Yes! These trees are great and I definitely like the Title Case font. Can you make it more bold? We just want to highlight/emphasize that text more and it's hard to see. So maybe a different font or just bold?
And are you opposed to stacking the text? Would just be curious to see what that looks like.
I'm torn between the black and green text, but lots of folks commented on the green being hard to read. Can you try this one with another option for the tree and a bolder font and maybe stacking the text to have "Association of" on one line, "Natural Resources" on the second and "Extension Professionals" on the third? Like how the one from designer "charcoal" has it?
Okay, here's some feedback from our membership...lots of comments about the text below ANREP being hard to read due to font color and text...can we see it in a darker green or even black, maybe even bigger and/or a different font?
Another person wants to see what it would look like with gold in the middle? I would switch the "icons" with the colors too so the sun and fire stay with the gold.
And then I know we have tried a few different tree graphics, but could see see some other options here? Maybe a pine tree?
Okay, i guess i like the text normal...can we just see this one with the colors from logo #82? I don't know if your logos are numbered the same?...but the one currently ranked 12th.
This one is now gaining traction in our survey. I'm still not a huge fan of these color combinations. I'm not sure on suggestions, but can you send a few different color schemes of this one? And can you try to revise the spelled out portion of our name to put emphasis on the Natural Resources or Natural Resources Extension (see some other logos for examples). Thanks!
Okay, I have sent out our top 12 logos to our Board for their vote and we will be selecting our winner in the coming days! I included a variety of different styles everyone submitted so the Board has options to pick from. Stay tuned for our selection and/or some more fine-tuning :-O
Oh I like the little curve addition!!!!!!!! And i like these colors better too. Not sure they are quite there yet...could we try a darker green and blue...like more forest green and then like navy...but still like...light. I don't know how to explain it...like white-washed versions of dark colors? lol. I really like this one!
Can we see this one with some different shades of the same colors? Maybe a more vibrant and/or darker green, brighter blue...or just not as pastel-like, and then maybe a more vibrant orange/yellow?
again, feel free to stop me if i'm making too many comments. this is my first rodeo with this...could we maybe move the fish under the water drop, the fire under the sun and the deer under the tree and then keep the same colors on the top and bottom. i think it's just too many different colors. So keep the green, blue and yellow and see how that looks?
This is for sure a contender with our Board. One member said they aren't a fan of the pastel colors. Could we see with one with some more natural color options? I'm a fan of the brown, but he wanted to see the text in black.
I really like this! For marketing purposes, we want to keep the clipart simple (for like t-shirts)...could we see this with a different tree clipart? Also, not a huge fan of the fish, light bulb and circle w/ arrows...can we see same logo, but with new versions of those icons? Our sustainability initiative has their own logo so you might gain insight from them for a clipart idea for sustainability http://www.anrep.org/people/initiatives/nnsle/ . Maybe a sun clipart instead of lightbulb for energy?
