This shape and large letters may be the most recognizable.

Maggie Livesay
Like but hard to read the words

Gets all of the natural resources categories. Will look good at a distance, like in the corner of a Powerpoint slide.

Great! It is bold and easy to undertand. I think you could use a better tree graphic. Also I might like it better with the gold in the center.

I like this one, except for how our name is written out. I'd prefer a blend of it with logo 4 (the other one that has a circle) for the text..

I like this one best - simple, inclusive - tree is a little odd, pair of trees in the fourth one is better
4 years ago
RL Strnad
Probably my third fave - but if done in grayscale - it loses a lot
4 years ago
Leslie Boby
The words are not spelled out enough, I don't like the black and its too much for small print
4 years ago
Mary Love Tagert
This is my favorite because it is simple and has fewer colors but covers all the bases. Also, you can clearly see the logo acronym and associated words.
T Brant
Nice, bold, maybe too bold.
Dr. Katherine Clements
useful across many mediums because of simplicity
4 years ago
Chris Schnepf
Least favorite. Symbology is a little too cryptic - the tree (?) in the upper left hand corner is awful - looks like a house plant with leaves way out of proportion to the trunk. Also the flame (?) on a pale yellow doesn't work for me. Spelled out acronym is hard to read too.
David Apsley
#1 This is my favorite, make subheading black also so that it is easier to read. Perhaps add a conifer to the tree panel so that it represents eastern and western ecosystems.

This is my favorite, but it is a close tie between the three logos that incorporate icons versus the one that has a more complex graphic image. I always think about reproduction on "stuff" like shirts, hats, pens, etc. I really like the clean and clear version shown here. Also doesn't loose much if done in greyscale (all logos should also be looked at in greyscale IMO).
Tiles
Visually I like this one the most, but there is no wildlife represented
4 years ago
Leslie Boby
1st choice Fav- clean design- highlights NATURAL RESOURCES so that people can see what ANREP means, as ANREP only means something to insiders, whereas Natural resources has meaning. I like the little designs and they could do variations of this depending on size of anything.
Mary Love Tagert

T Brant
Not sure the art in the lettering will remain discernible as logo is reduced.
Dr. Katherine Clements
like that name is primary focus
Chris Schnepf
Not bad, but would like a little warmer colors (e.g., more red for the "Flame/A"). Like the integration of the symbols into the letters. The brown letter also suggests soil. The fire logo in all of these would suggest a campfire more than fire ecology, but other fire symbols (e.g. a charred snag) may also be problematic

I love this one and the next one (row of icons above ANFREP linked with the gray circle). I would be happy with either one. The first two, however, look very western US to me, so a big no on those.
Carrie Stevenson
Love the color coordination with the outdoor element. It's eyecatching but simple enough to replicate on shirts/hats/logo items. Also, my 16 and 13 year old kids voted this as coolest, too, so I think it's going to hold its appeal longer.
