Thanks for the effort. These look pretty good. Here's what I wrote to one of the other designers. Maybe it will give you some more ideas.
Think of SKYPE or GoogleTalk but rather than looking at the person your talking to the camera is pointed the other direction and you see exactly what they are looking at or doing. One of the best example is a Blind person who uses a webcam (attached to glasses) to get help from their friend (located 100 miles at home sitting at there computer from Facebook) to guide them to the bus stop down the street.
What we do as a company is make this connection happen between the person who needs help and the person who has the special skills to help them. This means in essence we give people a simple quick way to get immediate help from Friends & Family for FREE or from experts for a Fee.
Potential Image Ideas - - New age looking glassed with a built in webcam attached to a Mobile device - Something that depicts People Connected remotely & helping each other. - Maybe just something simple similar to the SKYPE logo (just really cool bubble fonts)
I like both designs and really like where your going with #28. Can you expand on this idea? Not quite sure what that means but maybe you could try some different variations w/ sizing and coloring. Maybe you could take the concept and add to it with some more effects or simplify. Sorry I'm being so vague but I like it but for some reason I can't sell anyone else on it, so I thought maybe you have some more ideas.
#57 & 56 are interesting. What if you put each person in their own Box and had the boxes look like they're communicating back and forth between each other? Maybe one box one either side of the name with arrows (or some other communication symbol) connecting the two OR demonstrating remotely located live communication. Two boxes could also be smaller and next to each other. Thanks
Better.... it does a good job communicate what we do as a company without being to specific. My only concern is that its too busy... especially #61 (maybe try with out such a big shaddow behind the name).
Now that contest is over I'm not sure if you can submit any new entries, but if you could I was thinking about #24 and seeing if it was possible to replace both "I" with images of people, then use an arrow or line to connect them to imply they are communicating.
Thanks for all your designs. I'm really having a hard time choosing the best of all your designs. I have a feeling i'm going to go with #25 but I really like a number of your other design too. This is my first time using LogoTournament so I'm not sure if its cool to ask this or not, but it would be awesome if I could get your other designs. Not only can I easily see myself changing my mind in the near future, but certain logos might work better for different purposes. I can really see using #58 or #63 as an Icon for our Iphone app. Let me know if this is a possibility.
