We liked 6, 7, and 8 at first glance, but think the propeller might be a bit too much. Maybe too cartoony or too blue collar. Might work if it was less prominent.
On 1, 3, 4 and five, we liked how you worked in the aspen leaf, which will provide some consistency with the old look. However, we think the font used with "aspen" could be a bit difficult to read with smaller sizes.
Finally, we like how you worked the propeller aircraft into the logo. We think the size of the aircraft on number nine was better than on 1 through 5.
#13 is now at the top of our list. We really like it. We're just a little concerned about how it will look in embroidery. Maybe simplify the design for that purpose.
Thanks for the feedback. I will simplify the design in the morning. the design should embroider fine with a few modifications. I will show you the design in one color. This should help you see how the design will work.
#24 (Black/White) #25 (some color). Both of these designs will embroider without any problems. I can give you other colors if you would like to make some suggestions. Thanks for the feedback, keep them coming!
I may be assuming wrong...are you located in Aspen Colorado? Not sure if you want any mountains in the logo. As a private pilot, I'm not too excited about planes and mountain tops??? I can incorporate if desired. Just let me know.
Actually located in Denver. Company started in the early 70's and we have no idea why it was named aspen. I agree, mountains and planes are not a great mix.
Just wanted to tell you, how impressed I am with your work. I could go with 90% of what you provided. Impressive!
#49 is basically the same as the others, except I changed the plane to a more generic aircraft and added the horizon flight instrument. Just an idea. The design will reproduce in one color and simplified for embroidery. This version may be better suited for web applications.
Let me know if I can provide any updates or revisions for you. I know the next several days will be chaos, I may need the escape. Hope you have a great Christmas.
Keep in mind, the winner, must embroider well on a hat or shirt. The font needs to be clear and easy to read on a hat or shirt as well. On 49 the P gets lost in the artificial horizon. Maybe experiment a bit with colors.
On 15, maybe a bit more space between the aspen leaf and aircraft, verses the wording.
#57 is the version that I think will work best with embroidery. The version ranked first #49, would work well on web applications and business cards. Same design, just a tweaked the colors. What are your thoughts on color? If i am chosen as the winner, I will be sending several file formats and the colors can be altered on your end on several of the formats.
I believe that is just that font style. It is probably compounded by the stroke on the "E". That is something that can be altered to your taste. Let me know if you wish to go that direction.
