Hello,
The symbol created represents an abstraction of the letter "A" and the form of the number "8." The top half of the inner symbol is split from the bottom half, signifying the divide between the top of an "8" and its bottom. Consequently the top half can be taken on its own as an abstraction of the letter "A."
I used teal for entry #39, as it was an excellent fit with the color of charcoal grey. It is not truly a blue, but mixture, more green in nature. It was so gorgeous, I could not resist bringing a version of it in front of you; I hope you do not mind this.
Also, as far as color variations go...in entry #40, for example, I used two colors -- this is the incite the curiosity of the viewer, while communicating an abstraction of the "A" and the number "8"....having a different color on top draws the eye of the viewer in, and helps them become fascinated by the symbol. And, this highlights the combo of "A" and "8" in an abstract manner.
If you have any questions, requests for revisions, or further ideas, I would be happy to hear them. Please let me know if there is anything else I may do for you. I hope you have a wonderful day, wherever you are today.
All the best,
Jennifer
