Our Ideas & Additional Information
The logo should reflect the breadth and diversity of Asia - from islands such as Guam to the mountain cold of Kazakhstan and Mongolia, and the heat of the middle east - NOT stereotypes about Asia. The logo should be novel, recognizable and obvious - people should know that it is the logo of the Asian Rugby Football Union. The logo should include a rugby ball and designers should consider simple but evocative designs such as the Running Man Hong Kong Sevens logo) and the Australia Rugby Union logo (see links below). The current logo is attached below. We are trying to re-brand ourselves as a dynamic, growing organization with youthful vigor and broad reach. One idea is to try to include a 'piece' of each member union - be it a symbol or a color.
