#5 Very nice look. I'd prefer to avoid the house as an emblem - tends to imply that we take care of houses, instead of people. The most overused emblems in the home care industry are houses, helping hands, angel wings and hearts. But I like the overall look. A more vertical orientation might work better for the stationery design we have in mind - logo at top left, gold foil imprinted line separating the left margin from the body of the stationery, use of gold foil in other areas, too. Our current company uses that layout, with a gold foil line in the logo, the sun emblem, and our tagline. We do like the gold imprint to carry the message of quality and premium level services.
Entry #10 Sorry. In my original comment I forgot to mention another overused image in the home care industry - what I call 'little people' (they're everywhere). I know that's an obvious image to use and I don't have a suggestion as to what emblem might be ideal - probably something abstract. By the way, I can send you a scan of our current stationery and business card, so you can see the layout we favor and get an idea of what we like, but I don't know how to send it through this site. If you have an email address I can use, I'll send it and then give you some more comments and direction. Thanks very much.
