What We Do
Unique metalwork and handmade jewelry; a lot of rustic, fantastical shapes and textures, targeted toward people who are attracted to art and form over simple polished jewelry

Color Preferences
Neutral tones, even black, paired with teal would be ideal! Soft purples are ok, too, but I'm big into teal! I'd also like to be able to see it reduced to black and white since I will eventually want something I can make a maker's mark stamp out of.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please take a look at my work for an idea of the type of stuff I am making: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ashtreemetal, and on instagram @ashtreemetals. That might give you a feel for the vibe of my art!
Would not be opposed to a jewelers saw or chasing hammer or some other metal working tools being a part of the design, but I'm more than happy with it just having some subtle tree/roots vibe...
The logo I have there isn't very good but I made it and drew it myself, I really like that veiny/roots-looking pattern I drew on it, so any allusion to roots or a root-type pattern would be great. I do want to bring home the "ash tree" part of the company name, but I'm thinking like a gnarled tree older than the gods! I also like the distressed text, but I'm not sure if I like the serif or if a script font would be better. I like the idea if it being a circle, that would be easier for stickers and things. This logo will ultimately end up on business cards, stickers, jewelry boxes, earring cards, jewelry stamp... Something rounded in form might work best. I'm not attached to my logo at all, that's why I'm here--just wanted to share what I've been working with. I'd be down with something more simple and aesthetic, something that might scale down well too-this logo will eventually be scaled down pretty darn small!
