Hey logostudio, #3 and #4 are too conservative. Entry #2 is a good start. The fellowship part should be a minor part of the design and the As One should be the focus. I like what you did with the number one, that's cool. Can we make the font more distinctive and contemporary? Something that says, "I'm into design and the cutting-edge?"
I like entry 5, but the font is too conservative also. Can you make the heart be two sides of a face or a person? So that way it would show unity and diversity also. Thanks!
Thanks for making the changes on #8. However, I don't want the heart theme. What I did like about it was that it showed diversity through the different colors and it showed unity because the cross went through the heart. Can you perhaps work on a different icon that emphasizes unity and diversity?

On #28, #29, and #30, I like what you are doing. Is there a way to make the icon more Christian? To incorporate some kind of cross into the emblem? for example, #28 looks like a nonChristian symbol. Because I will also be using these in black and white, it has to communicate well even when we don't use the color.
I like this idea in #73! Quite creative. Here are a few simple variations I'd like to see if possible. First, I'd like to remove the shadowing on the text, and let the cross dissect the text with the white space around the places where it touches the text, just like the cross itself has the white space where the different colors intersect. 1) Can you make a variation with no heads on the cross. 2) Can we make a variation with all four heads on the cross but above the logo, and using the new more simplified n? (if the cross needs to be thinned out 3) Do variation 2 but lengthen the blue part just a bit? 4) Have the four color cross above the logo with no heads?
I like Akron church, new city church, park community church, granger church, tapestry church. . .I like almost all of them. This is where I'm trying to go. I want to keep the colors earthy so I do not want them to bright and pastel. Let me know if you can come up with anything. I like #113 and #144. Let's try a different font on the "as one". See if you can get to something similar like the ones in the web link. Thanks.
Let's see if we can overlay a fingerprint pattern on each one of the sections, and make the colors more earth tones and less pastel. See the christ church example in the weblink where there are fingerprints. But we can use the fingerprints so that it's just the pattern while using the shapes you already have. Then use a different font for the As One.
I really like #209. Let's see if we can get somewhere with this one. Let's try a variation putting the icon to the left of the wordmark separated by a thin line, like in the design I have ranked first. Let's also try a variation where the green grass at the bottom of the icon is in the shape of a book so that it suggests that the tree is growing up out of the Word of God. Let's also try a variation where the font does not say "Asone" instead of "As One". Right now the As One looks to spaced out, and because there's no difference in the font it looks like it says "Asone."
This is a great design and will challenge the number #1 contender.
#231 looks a little smaller than #209. Does that matter? Will it all be the same in the end?
Let's try #229 with the word mark in the same place as in #231(right next to the icon) and without the dividing line.
Let's try #231 with the As One Fellowship a little darker grey. Then let's try #231 with the fellowship centered instead of all the way to the left.
Let's try #231 with the font from #209 but in all caps (with space between the As and the One) to see how that looks.
Let's also try a black and white version where the leaves are different shades of grey (where the orange and purple are in the original design) so that we can still see the diversity even when the logo is in black and white.
I like #260. Let's try it with the fellowship centered. But the icon needs to look like a tree. You had a bigger icon in #209 in proportion to the wordmark. Right now the icon is too small and looks like a bush instead of a tree. Let's see if we can get the icon larger (it can even be bigger than it is in #209).
I like #244 also. Let's remove the spaces between each letter so that it says AS ONE and not A S O N E. Let's have a version with the one bold, like in #244, and one without.
After comparing these versions I'll be close to deciding which one I want.
version 1) Let's try #252 with the entire wordmark in the light grey.
version 2) Let's try #252 with the wordmark in the light grey and the word "fellowship" in the orange version 3) Let's try #252 with the wordmark in the light grey and the word "fellowship" in the brown
Then can I see version 1) in black and white (with the varying shades of grey in the leaves) and with colored background?
One more thing. Let's try the tree with different shades of green instead of the purple and orange. Then let's try it with the distressed/weathered look like it is in #223.
This is all with the light grey wordmark underneath.
I don't like this concept anymore. I'm need you to start over on a new design. . .Just kidding!!! Thanks so much for your hard work - I love the logo. Thank you for your patience and hard work.
