INK, in the stencil typeface against a red background creates the effect of a 'chop' or seal, appropriate for your business.

Thanks. Would you have any wild ideas? This is an arts business and the name/logo is the first impression.

I'd like to see the entire logo as a sort of "chop" because of its meaning:
By tradition, a chop is carved in stone such as jade or soapstone. The stone may be decorated with carvings and ornaments including precious stones, and it is usually rectangular in shape so that it can be easily gripped. The bottom of the seal is pressed into a red paste before the seal is stamped on documents and works of art. Depending on the stylistic choice of the carver, the writing of the seal may appear in red ink, or it may be in white relief against a red background.

I can adapt within this theme if you wish.

#42 is really fantastic. Please add the comma. I like this the more I view it. Great job.

Giving it a more artsy, pressed in wax look...

Hi. Please do #42 but with the comma added. I really like this design. I will be honest with you, I don't think it will work for the store logo, but, how could I go about purchasing it for other purposes?

There you go.

I would be delighted to work with you. After the contest is over, you could PM me, I would then send you my email address/PayPal account and you could have the same files and rights that you would receive through LogoTournament for the same price, $250. LT wants the Contest Holder to be happy, and it is not uncommon for clients to buy multiple logos from a contest. There are so many talented designers here, it's win/win for you. Just let me know what you decide.
