Hi,
We like the typeface, however is there one where the "W" is more prominent with the same effect? Also.. a little more contrast. Or color. We really like the image. It communicates "hill country" and texas. Thanks for your input.

#98 We really like this one, a couple of modification requests: How would it look without the structured dark green band in artist workshops, and place the "paint brush" effect instead? Or a different color for the work "artist workshops" so its easier to see at first glance. Or just no band?

#96, I think we are moving away from the century plant visual? some other way communicate Hill Country?

and fyi.... Glad you're close by.

Also, would you consider doing a version that shows a stag/deer against sunset sky on a hill.... or something more Hill Country? Orange sunset against dark landscape with silowette of deer... kinda? (Excuse my spelling)

#109, maybe just add the cactus to the stag's left... I like the "paint brush" background effect.
And really like # 108 as well.

All in all, really nice designs. I'm just waiting for my partner to weigh in as we do need to wrap this up this weekend, or before. So stay tuned, you are in the top 3.... :)

#124. OK now this is our one fav, however can you use the stronger orange wash. Also.. just as a double check, is this stage for the Hill Country White Tailed Deer? Just want to make sure our "deer" is accurate. The rack may be different.

#108 is our other equally fav. Only small comment on this one is, the "flower petal" looks like a fish, opening it's mouth, at the petal base? Could we close that or modify it and have it still look like a petal?

And then of course, what do they both look like in black and white.

And lastly... how would either of these two look... if Wimberley and Artist Workshops were either equal size or have Artist Workshop a little larger.... or does this totally throw the design off. It may throw it off. I just wanted to address feedback that's telling us to emphasize the Art Workshop at least as much as the area that we are in.

Talk later,

Hi again, we had to focus on some other activities. Now we're back.

#124 - the only reason we may not select this as it's too masculine for an mostly female audience, yet it communicates Wimberley and Hill Country beautifully. My only thought is to move away from the "hunter" type of colors and to make the orange sunset more yellow? What are your thoughts...

#129 - yes we closed the mouth of the fish, but now it looks funky. Could we put some of the white space or mouth back in so it's a compromise between the two? And which flower is this? If we select this one I want to be able to point to a Texas flower. Is it Indian Paintbrush?

That's it. Thanks again for all your work and willingness to make changes. :)

#96 - How about doing this one with a turquoise background and add the cactus with the century plant? As we like the two together in #124?

I think that adding a streak of the wonderful lavender found in Texas sunsets makes this one slightly more feminine

This is the Indian Blanket, a lovely Texas wildflower planted along our highways by Lady Bird Johnson

K, Can we simplify the cactus a little...
And could the turquoise color get above the flower so it will show up better on T-shirt...
Also...how can we make "artist workshops" show up better...
if we use the wordmark without the picture...

Happy to make the changes for you. Let me know if it needs more fine-tuning.

Yep, now too much turquoise... maybe you were right the first time... and the cactus look out of balance.
So back to the first one... is there compromise with the color swoosh... let the a bit of the century plant stick above the color...

I have to get on the road (Dallas to Austin) so I'd like to wrap this up in an hour. :)
