The colors for number 6 are AWESOME! love the idea of the cactus/paw print- would like to see it just a tad more paw print like- There is something just not right with the lettering too- I think it has to do with the even number of letters in Oncology and Veterinary and the odd numbers in the other one?? The darkening words someone attributed to the setting sun (not sure if that was on purpose but looks great). I actually like #7 as well for a fewer color design
I'm so glad you enjoy this design -- I had fun making it!
#13 is a true 2 color. #7 is really 3 colors and uses screens (shades of one color). B/c of the affordability of full-color digital printing, I would not shy away from a full color logo. The number of colors only drives up the cost in spot color printing. Full color is now more affordable than spot color printing.
That said, It's still smart to have a 2 color and even a single color option of your final design. Those you might want for use on promotional items, embroidery, etc.
This design is really getting a lot of great feedback - Will you continue to be available over the weekend or is this the last day you can tweak the design? If so, can we move the pods out slightly on the full color one #6 like you did on 13? and can you come up with something in between the lettering on 6 and 13 (the vet oncology part is too small on 13 but just doesn't flow quite right on 6). Some of the staff would love to see something with the cactus/paw next to the wording instead of on top as well.
Thanks for your help on this. We really like them!!
Well, I can access my computer now remotely, but with my current devices I'm not really able to manipulate the files. When able, I will seek out a PC and see if that doesn't work better. Hopefully!
I will let you know asap. I am traveling tonight to the east coast.
On number 18, what would you think about making the AVO stand out a little more- different color? We anticipate using AVO as a short version of our name so that might look cool
So far your design has the most votes. We are still going to tweak a few of the others as the tournament directors suggest but we want to get yours perfect first. Don't be alarmed when we drop your rank because apparently that is the only way we can work with the other guys during the judging phase.
So, on number 18, when we print in black and white, the word Arizona is very light and the word veterinary is fairly light. We like the concept of the fading color of light (sunset?) but is there a way to darken that up so it looks better B/W?
Also, we assume we will go by "AVO" for some stuff so were wondering if with color or size or font the AVO could be emphasized?
