#9 and #10 are similar. I like #10 better. The Icon is strong.
There is no need to need to focus attention to "Home Buyers". We offer buying and selling services. "HOME BUYERS" is the focus of the name and you are not expected to change that. I don't think further emphasis is good. I would not want a potential client to see the logo further emphasising "Home Buyers" and think that we don't offer selling services.
Your design #42 is our currently our top choice. Please submit changes for further review as follows:
1. #42 with dark blue lettering 2. #42 without the reflection and dark blue lettering 3. #42 with different colors. I would like the logo to inspire more confidence. Another color scheme my help to accomplish an upscale, confident look.
The reflection maybe difficult to reproduce effectively in print media and on signs. How do you feel about the reflection? In you opinion should it stay or go?
Also, we will need business cards, letterhead and real estate signs "For Sale" designed. Are you experienced in producing these items? Do you have a website that I can look at to see examples of your past design of these items? Lastly what is your charge for these services.
Reproducing these type of reflections totally depends on the quality/experience of the printing house you will be working with. To stay on the safe side I would recommend going without it for the print media and keeping shinny reflected one for the digitial media like your web site, power point presentations, word, excel etc.
As for the other stuff you mentioned above I do have experience and you can visit my site to see some of my work at www.logoroad.com -it says Corporate ID Package for a forex company on the home page. Please also check to see how those 3D designs with reflections and all came out right here http://logoyol.com/2012/04/kurumsal_kimlik/ scroll down the page to see the pictures.
Thanks, but you did forget to send other color schemes. I'm very interested to see what colors you would choose for the logo and how that may change the look.
I am continuing to receive input from my peers. Lots of favorable comments on your logo.
However, no one picked up on the overall shape is that of a key. Is there anyway to make the key less subtle? Perhaps you could outline the company name to make the key more apparent. I'm not certain how to accomplish this task, but thought that you may.
The only thing is the teeth of the key don't look right. And it's because the ridges are not the same height. I uploaded a photo of a normal key. Please note that the first ridge is in line with the pointed end ">" of the key and the ridges of the other teeth are never higher than the first ridge. Please update this feature and I will send it for final approval.
I think you have created our new logo!
BTW, I'm John. What is your name? Who have I been working with?
My associates have agreed that your design #180 is by far the best logo.
There were however a few people that commented that the teeth of the key looked odd. In looking back at my instruction to you regarding the key, you clearly did as you were asked. I do believe that I was in error in asking you to make the ridges the same height. If you would be so kind to make an additional change, I would like for you to make the two teeth to the left shorter and and irregular or to make the two teeth three shorter irregular teeth. Also. please add the "key" to the red/blue logo without the effects (#140) for use on signs.
I believe we should be able to end the contest with this revision.
I'm ending the contest with #181 as the winner. I assume that I can get the files for both #181 and #182 (the same logo without the affects). Since the contest rules require that similar logos not be ranked, #182 will not appear in the top 10. Let me know if there is a problem.
