#15 I very much like the logo part of the design, the grey doesnt show well on my screen for INTERNATIONAL, but maybe thats the contest resolution displayed ? The overall design is well balanced, clean and professional. For one option can you make my display version more bold for the INTERNATIONAL part. And for other versions, can you provide some variations - maybe font changes (just for comparison) - overall well done
All the new designs #23 #24 #26 are great - thanks #25 will take a little time, but may eventually 'grow more on me' !
As a designer - which of the designs is the best from your point of view? Is blue a preferential color ? Would any other colors also work ? However blue and grey seems to work very well
Please feel free to submit any other variations, or any completely different inspirations.
But thanks for the efforts so far. I will re rank tomorrow
Time for sleep - here in Europe - back in around 7 hours
i love what i've done for my design #23 the idea just flow when i reading the brief and see the Stylistic Sliders.
and about color, some sense of color blue is symbolizes trust, honesty, loyalty, professionalism, cleanliness, strength, and also a favorite color for many people, is also associated with water and sky with an infinite sense
Other colors such as orange has a sense of energy, excitement, adventure, warmth, and good health.
green color as a universal color associated with nature, ecology and the environment.
gray is the color without color, is a neutral color and I think this color is suitable given to the word "international" as a counterweight
and entry #40 is a shorter separator for entry #24
Thanks for the feedback I of course like all the designs :) But #23 offer me some future possibilities to change the text Assessor Registration etc ... to Conformity Assessment Scheme, and Personnel Training and Certification at some future date so it provides a lot of flexibility. #23 will also look great printed on a certification certificate. #24 leaves option open in case i want to emphasis ARCS more. I will think about this towards the end of the day 3
The scheme is associated with SPICE. I didnt expect or mean to link the two together but as you have used the globe with white spots, I thought that i might ask you the following:- Here is a link to the SPICE logo http://screencast.com/t/Eeg1dEk9Em The 'I' in SPICE has a significance in that is related at an assessment result, and the color change is there to signify improvement (an arrow headed moving in the direction North East.
Is there any potential to include the concept of the 'I' (not necessarily the same) in the globe graphic ? Or would that severely complicate matters?
Anyway I thought i would ask, both for your opinion, and as a challenge, should you wish to take it up !
Thanks for all the attempts at trying to accommodate the innovation of trying include the 'i' design element from the SPICE logo, but as I see 1) it is not visible in the smaller logo, and playing around with the number of extra globe balls detracts from the overall esthetic design - sorry about that, but it was worth a try.
So that leaves us with #64 and #65 bigger logo design. I think the addition of the color again complicates the overall simplicity, cool color scheme and overall design, so i think will we drop that variant
So that leaves us with #23 and #65
For #65 can you make a duplicate with the original globe design ? You can choose whether to keep the grey in some of the globe balls or just keep them white - you are the better judge of this. And is it possible to squeeze the & onto the top line so it reads ASSESSOR REGISTRATION &
For #23 can you make a duplicate but trying to place on second line ASSESSOR AND and on third line CERTIFICATION
Then I think we will have explored all possibilities !
You could give me your honest opinion whether you think the design of #23 or the design of #65 is the best. I would really appreciate your opinion
i still like what i've done with #23 it looks clean, simple not to busy and not excessive overall it's just like what you said in the begining , is well balanced, clean and professional, that's what I trying to convey visually. for layout, maybe the design #70 could be considered (it doesn't mean i suggest you more for that, it depending where the logo will placed, or even you need them both, short and long version ) , but returned to the requirement that you need, for design #23 I agree with your opinion even though the layout horizontally as a whole, is still clearly visible for printing even in a small size that you see now, and may be in fact, the size of which will be in print are bigger than you see on the screen
I think there is an influence to follow, he uses the same globe with the other designers have used.. not as a globe that I made, mention the concept of the design #119 he actually took my idea. put a globe in the middle of the letter "C" and it is not allowed according to the existing rules
Whilst I have put his/her design (one of them) in the ranking , I will however remove after closure of contest. I just wanted you to be aware, as i know designers can complain and get them suspended. It has happened on one of my previous contests
If you have time, as a reference point, could you produce a badge design similar to #162 (current rank 2) i.e. with the ARCS INTERNATIONAL inside the graphic element, just to see what it would look like - thanks
By the way , the reason I ask, is that I may consider using the globe with the text ARCS and INTERNATIONAL as a pin badge in different colors. We will have certification levels : Assessor , lead assessor and principal assessor, as well as trainer and it might be nice to make metal pin badges in different colors for the status
Really excellent - thank you very much This shows the possibilities with the current theme You have surpassed my expectations with a simple request Very much appreciated
