I really like how you have picked up on the luxury and feminine themes. What adjustments could you make to ensure that this logo appeals to architects and builders? Could you utilize a font that is distinctly architectural?
I would like to see ideas where, using a similar image, you identify the logo with very high-end brands within the door and window industry. Consider also that we want to have a very targeted appeal to architects, designers and builders of luxury homes. The consumer, most often a woman, generally makes the final product selection so we are looking for a brand logo that appeals to specifiers but also appeals to the feminine influence in product selection. In this regard, I think you have done an excellent job.
#42, #43, and #44 are a few variations of #7 using architect fonts. #43 has a little web 2.0 going on, which I know you didn't list as a style of logo you would like, but, I wanted to provide it as an option. I like #44 a lot, I think is has a universal appeal, without being overly feminine.
I am still working on some other entries. But, I wanted to show you what I have right now.
Hi V. Wow! These are looking great. Could you consider working with some additional colors? Maybe a two-color. I really like the shade of blue with the smoky tan color in combination. These are really nice. Can't wait to see what else you migh have. When we were completing our questionnaire, we chose the color blue because it seemed to most closely aling with our values expectation. However, we've seen some logos with color, I.e. blue and red, blue and tan etc. The multiple colors seem to distinguish the entries.
Here are the new ones with some different and multiple colors. I am going to take a fresh look in the morning, my eyes are a little buggy right now. Please let me know what you think.
Hi V, I like what you've done. Here's a little feedback. Could we play up the "Impressions" in a simple way. Like a reflection, or shaped drop shadow, something that insinuates an architectural "impression" as if it was letter pressed or embossed or something.
Thank you V. I still like the image occupying position #1. The dropped shadows on the font make it appear almost blurred. I'm favoring the image that I currently have in position #1 but would love to see some color and, perhaps, a bit more embellishment. It is definitely "architecural" but I would like to see more "impressions." Any thoughts? (I know...ugggh!) Those that I have invited for feedback seem to very quickly settle on the imagery of #7; however, your most recent ideas that incorporate the "ai" graphic are, I think, an improvement. It is nearly unanimous among my friends that the development of window and door into the logo is critically important. Can you visit the website www.canteradoors.com? This is characteristic of products that we sell to high-end clients. You might find some inspiration in the images on this website. Thank you for your great effort.
#106, #107, #108 and #109 are the new ones. I have added more embellishment and enlarged the "ai" to make it encompass the door area, giving it the wrought iron feel. I have also added some color on a couple of them. I chose a new font, that is cleaner and more crisp. Please let me know if this is the direction you think we should go.
V, We really like the changes and agree that it has improved the logo. We like the splash of color; it makes it really interesing to look at. We agree that the new font is much more crisp; however, we do also like the font used in #56 and #73. We like the images of the window and sidelites in #'s 58 and 59; do you think that it detracts from what you done so far to add them in?
Here's a curve ball... What modifications might we consider to make the logo appear just a bit more whimsical?
Glad that you are liking the developments of the logo.
#114, #115 and #116 are the new ones with the sidelites, one with the font of #108 and the other two with the other font that you like. Also did one in green and added a slight drop shadow on that one.
I haven't really come up with any ideas for this logo that would be whimsical. Did you have any ideas on whimsical or any other changes that you'd like to see?
Hi V. I think we've settled on our top picks and your entry remains in position # 1. I am waiting for my partner to complete his ranking of entries. I personally like the order of entries as it currently stands. We'll be in touch.
Neil, I'd more than happy to continue working on a logo design for you. Could you please let me know if you'd like to see any more done with the current logo design or if you'd like to go in a different direction?
