I prefer the main design to be round....and square ( a circle desgn inside a square )

Hello Thanks for the quick work
The logo should say Yummy Koi Treats . It should not say Aquatic nutrition Inc .This logo will be part of a label that will go on the packaging so large bold letters would be best . If you were to stand back 10 feet from the design , you should be able to easily tell what it is representing.

I like design 1 and 7's fish because it is a mor forward looking face /body
I do not like the fish design on #1 as the fins look scary .
also the fish should be red and white ( white body with red spots)
please see our concepts on the website ( posted today befor noon eastern time)
thanks

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

I like the eyes on designs #8 and #1

I like the letters withe the black outline on design #8 the best . Having them bigger than the ouiter circle may make them "pop"

I love how the fish is jumping out of the water on #21! but number 11 has the goodies in its fins as requested . I sure would like to see a "looney tunes" font half on and half off the outer circle, big black outlined and colorfull ... (maybe a yellow center) heres somecomments in reference to #21

Wow , Ok ,this is going to be tough so I am going to give a "long winded" answer /manifesto etc as to what I see and percieve.

Dimi started with a spectacular design (#11 I believe) Dimi hit it on the head , nice hard lines and detail. I am impressed . The only things I did not like was the eye of the fish looked blank or too non- real.??? hard to explain. th head was a side view in which was less desireable that a front looking design. Dimi has mad many many revisions throught this contest and actuall read my comments.

Hardih - I like your fish characters face the best ... maybe because it has a fun , easy going ...dopey dopey doh look to it. Non threatening ...like a labrdor retreiver...easy to please and happy go lucky . I really desire the 100% opaque fins. It makes the design easier to understand. I like the toung hanging out , however my only concern is that the latest design with the eye closed and the big tounge ... its somewhat hard to tell what its is. Reminds me of our slush puppy drink machine we have at the office. The design says...you will love these yummies. If I had to comment... I like the design ...but it is a but too much . Try showing it to someone for 5 seconds for the first time and then ask them what the picture was. Maybe open the eye and loose or reduce the tounge. Pretty cool though.

Macqui- I had private messeged macqui to sho a ball of koi cookies in its fin , I like that . The only part I do not like about the fish is the mouth . It closes in th middle and looks like the fish should be holding a cigar. Macqui also showed skills by doing some other designs that were totally different ( and nice)

I Think with all of them , I might like the shrimp ((bigger and in the fin where the broccolli currently is ) to be the most prominent then the carrot and finally the broccolli

This will ( probably ) be my final comments . Tomorrow is labor day and time to rest . The rankings currently are close but in no way deffinate. For all of you who have repeadadly entered. Thanks a lot !! I understand all the efforts .

My last thought was for each of you to think about where this sticker will be placed ( on a chines food take out box) ( no we are not eating the koi !!!) it will be on a shelf and the buyer will take 3 seconds to determine if this catchestheir eye. If you were the buyer...... based on the top 4 rankings so far.....what shape , font, colors, etc would you make it . take your current hard work and do what YOU think would be best.

With that said , I believe the three of you will beinvited to work on some private projects along the way outside of this tournment .

Do any of you know how to do color separations for screen printing ???/ This is a very demanding and difficult job, however , there is a strong need in our area.

Thanks to all GREAT job!!

Boy I did not sign up and shell out $400 for a bunch of drama . Admin ... I sent two emails to see if Icould resolve this . I have had no responce yet . Please ...make me a repeat customer by giving some butter support .

Dimi has sent a bunch of pisse off flaming emails and frankly I feel like I'm dealing with high school here. How do I choose to work with a designer who send really pissed off emails

I hope you understand that I have nothing against macgui to win with his shark. It would be a pleasure for me to e eliminated my designs !Otherwise, I can get point from you in the final standings!
