I am a 52 year old Junior at UNC Chapel Hill. This blog project is for an Independent Study class. I hope to continue the blog during school and after I graduate. Thank you in advance for working on this design project!

I really like all the designs that are coming in, thank you! I am curious to see the acronym ACT highlighted more. (A in apothe, C in carrie and T in tips) Sorry, I should have mentioned this earlier.

My photographer daughter (also a Junior at UNC:) looked at the submissions this morning. She thought the female figure shouldn't be so young and perfect looking, might be intimidating to blog readers who are struggling. Also, for a possible graphic, the old apothecary shops always had 'show globes' with colored water in them.

Since this logo will be used for a wordpress banner, it's important to keep the logo more horizontal than vertical. Also, I'd like to see more entries with a showglobe concept. Great job everybody!
