We are a medical device company founded by two world leading cardiothoracic surgeons. We develop surgical tools that facilitate the implantation of mechanical circulatory devices (such as heart assist pumps) and replacement of failed heart valves by making the surgery safer to perform and easier to reproduce by the surgeon.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
I agree to some extent, Athy. I am trying to find a more complete logo that leaves me feeling elegant and clean. I guess the overall emphasis should not be on complex but on the overall impression.
#221 - Fatkid, I have struggled with the cross as the traditional symbol for healthcare, but in your case, the single wave across the body is very interesting.
#65 - Marcn's logo's are amongst the most interesting and creative I have seen. I am still trying to convince myself that they are about a medical device company and not a simple play on the name of the company.
#223 - Delvas, I think you added an extra L at the end of Apaxis, so it now reads ApaxisL - that is confusing. the text is also too small. Please let me know what you are trying to convey with the structures on the left - I know it's a rendition of an A sitting on top of an M, but do you think it says anything else related to medicine or medical devices or heart surgery? I am just trying to understand the artistic mind.
