Our Ideas & Additional Information
This company is.......... A division of Sihle Insurance.... and the logo needs to say that at the bottom somewhere..small faunt A division of Sihle Insurance. here are some ideas and inspiration we need the color scheme to be similar to www.sihle.comin color scheme etc, the client also liked something as simple as this logo http://www.nejamelaw.com/ i think mainly because it was same colors and looked profesional. Client definitly also likes the slant of the A from another large agency with similar name http://www.aon.com/ I had one decent idea and that is to play off of his slogan and what and AOR actually is( when a company signes a letter to let you take over their insurance) the client liked the ideas see-attached (but they were fearful if would not come off professional) hard to make that determination with my terrible sketch...I am sure if you are reading this you can do a better job. if you can make those sketches come of way more professional with the proper color scheme i think the client will go for it. I used a pen in a few examples maybe even like a feather type quill pen/ calligraphy pen style could be better...and make company logo feel older trusted etc. Also attached is a business card of another agents branding that is also a division of Sihle Insurance...but she does not even have a website. Which i will be building for this client once we get logo done here =) I just enclosed it so you can see what someone else did with their company.

Finally heard from the client all you amazing designers! =) here is the update he is definitely leaning towards the logos with prominent AOR and the more refined less graphics/ standard logos...which is not what he initially wanted.(thinks he just wants high end professional. I added one more potential design idea to incorporate the signing action with a hand making the last letter in the e in insurance..see the attached and try a better drawing than my hilariously bad attempt at drawing a hand with a pen with a tilted "e". I would also encourage any current designs to try another version of your current work with the first part "AOR" looking as similar to the "aon.com" logo as possible. We have different colors and scheme and names mean totally different things. But the client and I both like the familiarity of that brand in the insurance world and style wise may make sense with a lot of the current top picks.
