I used the webcam and the slides as wished, but centered the webcam, so it looks like the slide-cards fading to the back are coming right outside the camera. The fades and colors look modern and fresh.
I really like the font you used in #11. Maybe make the slides different colors (with the front one behind the camera the same as you have here, I like the combo with the text!) and with more solid edging (so that I can put it on other sites / tools without worrying about fade. Also, position the cam a little lower, so that it sticks out against the slides. Thank you very much for your effort!!!
Also, please do one like my comments, but leave the slides like you have them and pull the ".com" below the "e". I am REALLY digging your font and the color matching with the text now!!!
My Second Version for this contest. I kept the fading effect of the slides to give it the impression of actually coming out of the webcam ,which obviously relates to the concept of doing easy presentations just with your camera. All in all I tried to go more 3-dimensional with a Web 2.0 feeling. You're welcome to leave your comments!
Alright, as wished I gave the slides a more solid edging and coloured them differently. Also I darkened the "any" a little bit so it stands out more on white ground, together with moving the ".com" beneath the e. At last I moved the webcam a bit lower, so it also stands out more. Comments very welcomed! :)
Love #160. Can you submit two different versions, each, with the below changes, one with the .com where it is and one with the .com below the "e"?
1. Please darken the base of the webcam. I like the webcam, it is just hard to see that it is a webcam because the base is blending into a white background (the logo will mostly be on white backgrounds).
2. Also darken the "any" a little more. Same reason, to make it jump out a little better on a white background.
3. With and without the shadow around the base of the webcam. This is because in come places I don't think that I'll be able to use shadowing (such as when the logo is used on T-shirts or on other websites that have fading/changing backgrounds).
I believe that with these changes this will be the winner, and I thank you for your efforts!
Assuming you know you will pass the "first contest, winner" required investigation, please go ahead and submit the revisions per my last post (assuming you can still submit and I can see) so that we can get it done as soon as possible after they release your account. Thank you for your effort!!!
Can you reverse the slide shading (light on top to dark on bottom) on #185 and make the .com bigger, and make the webcam base even darker (one version even darker than the top part of the cam, which is great already), and remove the shadow from the webcam? Please throw up any interim versions with these changes as you go so that I can see what they look like. This is really great stuff!!!
Yeah, well... I could already upload the .eps file, but I'm not sure if I'm already allowed to. I guess the best thing is to wait until I get the OK from the admin. Sorry for the delay!
