Two final things!

This is the version we like, but want to see the ends look a little more like brushstrokes. Maybe just clean them up a little?

Final thing is, can I please see a monochrome version of this logo? We occasionally will use it in black and white and there may be some considerations rather than just printing the color logo in grayscale.

This looks great in regard to the elements we've discussed.

I'd like to explore other possible finishes to the ends of the ribbon, such as what can be seen here:

- I can't see a difference between 210 and 2111?
- I like the thinner white spaces between the pickets.
- I like Since 1961 better in white.
- I like #214 the best, but with the size and spacing of Since 1961 as in #202. Also, please try it with Since 1961 about 20% smaller than @202.

Your logo has done much better than the other one in both surveys I have done. So I will be selecting you as the winner.

Before we finalize the art, I would like to explore a few things:

- Thinner spacing between the pickets?
- Since 1961 in black?
- Omitting the solid "wood" background behind Since 1961
- Different treatments of the STAIN • SEAL • PROTECT words in terms of weight and font, or maybe just more spacing between them so they extend out a little more to the left and right.

Two more tweaks to what you have here. Please make the black outline about 20% thinner. Also, is there a way to make the banner with the three words slightly less bold? It's a bit to dominant right now. Once you do that, I'm going to do another poll with the two top ones.

I am not asking you to copy that, by the way. It is a commonly used device, as you know. I am happy to send you other examples of that sort of outline technique, if you want.

An example of such an outline is on no. 150.

In addition to my earlier request in regard to the spacing between the pickets, I also would like to see an outline around the entire 6-sided shape (the banner would extend outside of it). Inside the outline would be a thin outline of white.

I like this one. What if the black ribbon extended a bit further out the sides?

Also, pickets have 90 degree angles but the ones you drew are more like tongue and groove with 45° angles. Can you make them look like they are separate boards?

Finally, what about some sort of black water around the outside? I'm feeling like it is looking like a badge or something that guards and protects.

I am sorry, I cannot use the "bullet points" because it's another designer ideas, I replace with Vertical line separator. Thank you for your understanding.

Oh, and I like the look of a brush stroke at the end of the black ribbon. Can you make that a little more apparent on both ends of it?

I extended the finalist period so we could have more time to work on this. I did a survey and your logo is more popular. However, I would like to see the following things:

- Keep the shape of the black ribbon.
- use bullet points between stain seal protect like the other finalist. I also like the font they used better.
- Make all of the "wood" the same color, but make it look more like a wood grain.

The roller is a nice element, although we would use a sprayer or sometimes a brush.
