Comment Activity sdleibow commented on #396 Thank you very much for participating in this contest. I am sorry that it didn't work out with your designs. I see that you are a very successful designer and have won many contests! 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #396 please look carefully....This design is even easier to embroider. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #396 In my opinion..lots of more intricate designs and they can be embroidered just fine. please search on google lots of complex logos that can be embroidered. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #396 I have done a poll and found that the anvil can be difficult to see the anvil at a small size and it would be difficult to embroider. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #397 using helvetica 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #396 using arial 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #383 I prefer the Since 1961 on 392. I'm not asking you to use another designer's concept. I just like the font and spacing. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #385 i use Hurme Geometric Sans Font 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #383 at first glance it looks the same only the kerning distance differs a little. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #383 What is the difference between 383 and 384? 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #385 Since and 1961 are too close together. What typeface did you use here? 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #375 Changes uploaded.#383 - #385..looks like that? 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #375 *let's 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #375 Also, let'd drop the (c) on all of them for now. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #375 Please use Arial, tighten kerning between S and I, and drop down to line. 3 years ago sdleibow added markup for #375 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #370 new update uploaded #371-#376 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #370 And slightly larger and lower. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #370 Let's change to Since 1961 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #346 variations of fonts #367-#370 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #346 I am inclined to go without a fence element. And now that I have gotten some more guidance, I don't want to use a wood fence. Let's focus on adding since 1961 on the bottom, below the logo. Something simple such as helvetica or Ariel italic might be what I'm looking for. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #350 I wanted to remind you that I don't want any special treatment of the letter a. I don't want it larger and by itself, or called out in any way. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #169 uploaded.#346-#349 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #258 I am not interested in seeing a separate A with the anvil inside. Only as part of the rest of the logo. Thank you. 3 years ago sdleibow added annotation for #258 Please use this part with the A and the F flush left. 3 years ago sdleibow added markup for #258 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 Maybe a fence graphic above the word ANVIL that I could use sometimes but not always. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 I like what you have done with the anvil inside the A but really think a wood fence (if any fence) should be shown--not a chain-link fence. Or maybe no fence element at all. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 Could you please make a version of this logo with the letters in ANVIL flush with the letters in FENCE COMPANY and no chain link? I want to omit the chain link. Thank you. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #246 please check all my new updates.. if you need revision/something else, just let me know. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #251 Also, I am getting away from feeling that a chain link fence on there is a good thing. I want to have more of a residential feel if there is a fence element included. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #251 I like this treatment of the fentanyl. Another artist showed me a really good version of that, too. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #246 Also, I am not interested in any special treatment of the a separate from the logo, but thank you for showing me those. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #246 The picket style I am referring to is called dog eared and is shown here https://www.amazon.com/Latch-Telescopic-Fully-Adjustable-Brace/dp/B08B454DHF/ref=asc_df_B08B454DHF/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459711701429&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11568946023168628688&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9029550&hvtargid=pla-967049300314&psc=1 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #246 What if you used to pickets that have three edges on the end instead of two, as you show here. And is there a way to use the negative space between the eye and the l to make a total of three pickets? Interesting to explore. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #169 uploaded #259-#262...looks like that? let me know if it's wrong. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 Were you going to also do the three versions I requested? 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #254 Bigger diamonds still? 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #169 please check all my new updates. always open to all your revisions/suggestions. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 I guess you will see the other finalists' concepts at the next stage. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #169 I will do your revision soon. btw...LT rules..we as designers are not allowed to copy the concepts from other designers. You as a client are also not allowed to share other designer concepts in a blind phase. I will try to revise it and give my best. :) 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 Hello! I have some more feedback for you. - Some ppl have said the fence pattern in 169 looks incomplete because it doesn't go all the way across, but I personally think #189 looks too busy. - The fence pattern in #199 looks good with a large version of the logo but is too fine for smaller use, such as business cards. - What if you made the fence pattern with larger diamonds than on #169? - What would #169 look like as it is but with the A flush left? - I will need a version of the logo with the A flush left and no fence pattern anyway, for embroidered items. So, I am asking you to make three more versions (last three bullet points). On another note, another artist sent something that looks pretty interesting. Is there a way for me to share that with you? Sherman 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #199 These are great. Thank you for putting them together. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #189 please check all my new updates..with some horizontal variations. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #189 If I go with your concept, which is by far my favorite at this point, I will need a version without the "fence" for the purpose of embroidered shirts, etc. In that version, I will want the word ANVIL to be flush left and right with FENCE COMPANY (just like on the original logo). And it is possible that this version will be THE version. Still not sure about how to do the fence part yet. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #189 if you need revision/something else, just let me know. always open to all your revisions. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #189 Yes, this generally is what I was looking for. Thank you. I am sure you will be one of the finalists, so I won't be asking you for anything more until that stage. Great work! 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #169 uploaded...#189-#190....looks like that? 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #169 I have shown several logos to my team and your concepts are the favorite! Please make a version of this that has the fence links going all the way from left to right. A few people asked to see this. Thank you. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #121 Withdrawn Of course 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #121 Withdrawn LogoTournament will remove any entries that contain the ® mark to avoid any potential problems for all parties involved in the contest. https://help.logotournament.com/article/109-use-of-registered-trademarks https://help.logotournament.com/article/126-please-do-not-use-registered-trademarks I'll replace ® with © as a placeholder.. #170-#173 I hope you understand. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #121 Withdrawn I'd also like to see this one with the fence going all the way across to the right. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #121 Withdrawn I made a mistake here on the (R). I had a local artist design that and had him move up the second line of text but now see that he didn't move up the (R) also. It should be even with the bottom of the other text. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #121 Withdrawn Okay, this is our favorite version. I still would like to see it with the (R) mark in the proper place and size (see the file attached to the original posting. Also, I'd like to see it in all black and in gray on black. We're getting really close here! 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #134 Withdrawn I've checked R on the original logo( hasn't changed one bit) #135 R up a little..#136 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #130 Withdrawn I like the tagline better by itself, without the lines. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #134 Withdrawn I like this one a lot! The (R) mark still is not in the right position. Please refer to the original logo file. 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #126 Withdrawn uploaded... #129-#134 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #126 Withdrawn I don't like the split color A Please position the (R) exactly as on the original logo. How will you show Since 1961? 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #120 Withdrawn a bit too busy 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #97 please check all my new updates.. let me know if something is wrong. 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #97 Please include the (R) mark and space the text lines exactly as in the original logo. Thanks 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #96 Withdrawn What about wooden pickets above the name and keep the chain link as it is? 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #97 I like this, too! 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #96 Withdrawn I like this concept a lot--particularly the treatment of the anvil inside the A. Can you play with the fence concept at all? Also, please include the (R) as it was on the original logo, and please use PMS1805. Thank you! 3 years ago DALHAZZ commented on #99 Please feel free if you need revision/something else. Best regards, Dalhaz 3 years ago sdleibow commented on #99 I like this a lot! 3 years ago
