Thank you very much for participating in this contest. I am sorry that it didn't work out with your designs. I see that you are a very successful designer and have won many contests!
In my opinion..lots of more intricate designs and they can be embroidered just fine.
please search on google lots of complex logos that can be embroidered.
I am inclined to go without a fence element. And now that I have gotten some more guidance, I don't want to use a wood fence. Let's focus on adding since 1961 on the bottom, below the logo. Something simple such as helvetica or Ariel italic might be what I'm looking for.
I like what you have done with the anvil inside the A but really think a wood fence (if any fence) should be shown--not a chain-link fence. Or maybe no fence element at all.
Could you please make a version of this logo with the letters in ANVIL flush with the letters in FENCE COMPANY and no chain link? I want to omit the chain link. Thank you.
Also, I am getting away from feeling that a chain link fence on there is a good thing. I want to have more of a residential feel if there is a fence element included.
What if you used to pickets that have three edges on the end instead of two, as you show here. And is there a way to use the negative space between the eye and the l to make a total of three pickets? Interesting to explore.
btw...LT rules..we as designers are not allowed to copy the concepts from other designers. You as a client are also not allowed to share other designer concepts in a blind phase.
- Some ppl have said the fence pattern in 169 looks incomplete because it doesn't go all the way across, but I personally think #189 looks too busy.
- The fence pattern in #199 looks good with a large version of the logo but is too fine for smaller use, such as business cards.
- What if you made the fence pattern with larger diamonds than on #169?
- What would #169 look like as it is but with the A flush left?
- I will need a version of the logo with the A flush left and no fence pattern anyway, for embroidered items.
So, I am asking you to make three more versions (last three bullet points).
On another note, another artist sent something that looks pretty interesting. Is there a way for me to share that with you?
If I go with your concept, which is by far my favorite at this point, I will need a version without the "fence" for the purpose of embroidered shirts, etc. In that version, I will want the word ANVIL to be flush left and right with FENCE COMPANY (just like on the original logo). And it is possible that this version will be THE version. Still not sure about how to do the fence part yet.
Yes, this generally is what I was looking for. Thank you. I am sure you will be one of the finalists, so I won't be asking you for anything more until that stage. Great work!
I made a mistake here on the (R). I had a local artist design that and had him move up the second line of text but now see that he didn't move up the (R) also. It should be even with the bottom of the other text.
Okay, this is our favorite version. I still would like to see it with the (R) mark in the proper place and size (see the file attached to the original posting. Also, I'd like to see it in all black and in gray on black. We're getting really close here!

Please make a version of this that has the fence links going all the way from left to right. A few people asked to see this.
Thank you.
