Ann Arbor Triathlon ClubLogo Design Contest

These are a good starting point. They are similar to a number of logos out there already. I'm not a fan of the cartoons of the swimming, biking and running. I prefer something more "serious" or "professional" There are a few good ones here. The B&W one for example.

This appears to be a standard font. I think the font could be more unique/custom.

I like the images on #12. Thank you for trying a new font for the text, however, I sort-of like it. Can you try some more. For example, I like the font on #7, #8. Something clean, bold, "motion"
