Our Ideas & Additional Information
I originally thought that I'd like a clever play on the letters of A and R to represent Anders Ruff. I would like to see options with JUST AR and also some with the Anders Ruff text.

I want to create a recognizable brand/symbol that people recognize when they see our logo.

We do use a lot of circles and polkadots within our work and also a lot of scallops.

Our current site is www.andersruff.blogspot.com
and our shop (so you can see our style since we are graphic designers) - www.andersruff.etsy.com

Whatever designer comes up with a design that we like, we'd love to keep in touch with them for other projects.

Also, we are willing to offer suggestions to designs we like, so the sooner you submit, the better.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

I'm seeing a lot of very contemporary looking logos. While I like clean looks, I'd like to see a little more of a whimsical look. (see our current logo where i posted it in our details)

We are liking the idea of putting the ar or ar/anders ruff logo within a circle or scallop w/ polkadots (similar to what our current logo is )

The main Task is to find the right font for "ar". We want a fresh take on ar w/o being too "techy" or too "contemporary/new age". Something classic and elegant or retro options.

We like clean modern but want it to feel interesting and not too "space age". These are feeling a little bit like a car logo/restaurant logo.

Some great designs coming in but still nothing shouting "I'm the one!".

I'd like to see these all within some sort of circle or scallop border or polkadot border. See my attached image to see where the logo will be placed on our website.

THANKS!

I like entry 106 but would like to see a fun way to enclose the ar logo within a circle or scalloped circle or polkadotted circle (or a mixture) similar to what our logo is today.
Also, with the word anders ruff below it.
Also, maybe trying a few diff font options w/ the same "composition" as 106
