Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Neatly centered both horizontally and vertically with spacing all around. (No ugly oversized logos that hit the edges, negative space is a designer's friend!)
No Borders - we are building a clean and consistent community portfolio.
#30-35 that EastCoast Creative removed, I don't understand what the problem is. The files are all 350x280 pixels. The only border is the thin gray one that the site has for every entry. I have created all of my entries for other contests the same way and have not had this problem. What needs to be done differently? I have submitted the files again. # 10, 12, 14, 15, 40 & 53 all have a portion of their art going to the edge.
Lava, your designs are considered oversized, you need to have margins of space above, below and to either side of the design. Your design should not touch the edges of the 350x280 space. You can fix it by placing your designs on a white background that is sized to 350x280. Best of luck!
I have placed all of my designs on a white background of 350x280. If there is an ideal/required size margin, then that should be listed in the requirements. If there was no gray border there would be plenty of white space around every piece of artwork submitted. My designs fit the requirements and I still don't understand why my designs were removed when the others as listed above were not. Maybe an additional requirement of "all backgrounds MUST be white only" should be added. As it turns out the CH is not interested in my designs anyway. I hope it wasn't due to the issue of a margin and that they really just weren't interested in my designs. I hope this issue can get some clarification.
