Hi Surip - thank you for your submissions - we are running a second survey with our team before we make the final selection tonight. We appreciate all your submissions!
Thank you so much for participating in our logo creation. As one of the finalists, I wanted to give you a bit more context for this phase of the contest.
Our organization already has a national presence and we are working to become the preeminent association for interpreters and translators in education in the United States, a rapidly developing field. We will be launching our new name, logo and website officially in a month. So the work you are doing is really important to us.
We are looking for an iconic logo that will, over time, become associated with a highly professional and respected organization. So we want it to look professional, to stand out, and to be memorable.
You can see from the designers we picked that we are considering versions that are closer to our original logo as well as variations on the graduation cap and hassle idea.
We have a strong liking for the dark green - but we also really like the silver on orange colors in one of the other designs submitted.
We are open to other color combinations that are elegant and combine well - with the exception of a lot of blue, because that color is truly overused in the interpreting profession already.
From this phase what we would to see is:
1. A circle shaped logo for the social media version - especially because it allows you, as the designer, to display our full name even for social media. And it evokes the feeling of a seal, which goes well with education. We think the way you've handled our name in this logo really stands out but we don't like the inside as much. The white lines take away from the logo name and the background green is maybe too dark.
2. A horizontal version with the name handled in a compact but still visible way.
3. Your creativity and talent!
We’ll be watching for your revisions and will provide comments.
Hi there - we are about to go into the 5-designer phase. You are one of them! We have ideas we'll communicate out after this phase closes! Thank you so much for your submissions.
Thank you for continuing to submit variations - they help us see the possibilities of how to arrange all the elements. I really like how the name is displayed in this logo!
Thank you for continuing to submit. This is a nice variation. Could you work on the font and make it more noticeable? Maybe highlight Interpreters and Translators in some way? And we would love to see some color variation - either a green/green blend or green with a complimentary color. Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for reworking this - this works much better. For the name below, can you see any way of getting Interpreters and Translators on the same line? Many thanks!
Thank you for you revisions. Somehow the E just isn't feeling as clean and clear as the AAIT. I'm not sure what else to suggest because I like the concept but it doesn't quite work yet.
Hi! I like this. Is there a way you can get the E to stand up straighter so it doesn't look like it's falling down. Maybe incorporate into the cap a bit differently so it's more of an even height vertically? Thanks!
This also has potential. The hat feels short - and I have the same comment about the font. It's too cramped. But I like your creativity in playing with the idea but not staying so close to the original. Thank you!
Hi! This is an interesting variation. I like how you are playing with the cap and the E. It feels unbalanced still ' the E feels very big. Also, the font for the organization name is squished together. We want to play with dark greens and either blended shading or a complimentary color. Can you work with this one? Thank. you!
Congratulations on the launch of the AAITE logo contest
I uploaded some proposals for your consideration.
Please give feedback if you need some variations or suggestions. It would be greatly helpful to improve it. So that logo design will be according to what you looking for.
Thank you!
