Hi Grace - We are running a second survey with our team with some of the latest variations before we make the final selection tonight. We appreciate all your submissions!
thank you for these new submissions! I like the communication bubble added. Can you work with the name to get Interpreters and Translators onto the same line? thank you!
Also, we are going to put up a survey for feedback for our leadership group today.
Thank you so much for participating in our logo creation and for already submitting additional ideas. As one of the finalists, I wanted to give you a bit more context for this phase of the contest.
Our organization already has a national presence and we are working to become the preeminent association for interpreters and translators in education in the United States, a rapidly developing field. We will be launching our new name, logo and website officially in a month. So the work you are doing is really important to us.
We are looking for an iconic logo that will, over time, become associated with a highly professional and respected organization. So we want it to look professional, to stand out, and to be memorable.
You can see from the designers we picked that we are considering versions that are closer to our original logo as well as variations on the graduation cap and hassle idea.
We have a strong liking for the dark green - but we also really like the silver on orange colors in one of the other designs submitted and which are you now playing with.
We are open to other color combinations that are elegant and combine well - with the exception of a lot of blue, because that color is truly overused in the interpreting profession already.
From this phase what we would to see is:
1. A circle shaped logo for the social media version - especially because it allows you, as the designer, to display our full name even for social media. And it evokes the feeling of a seal, which goes well with education.
2. A horizontal version with the name handled in a compact but still visible way.
3. Your creativity and talent!
We’ll be watching for your revisions and will provide comments.
Hi there - we are about to go into the 5-designer phase. You are one of them! We have ideas we'll communicate out after this phase closes! Thank you so much for your submissions.
I really like how you have contrasted the black and green in the image and the AAITE. Can you show a color other than black for the contrast to the green? Also, would it be possible to center the association name? Thank you!
This is an interesting design. Can you make it more of a forest or pine green - and make the words "Interpreters and Translators" standout more than "American Association"? Thank you!
I like how you incoporated the letters into the logo portion, but the AAITE portion feels bland compared to the logo, could you play around with the fonts to make the letters feel more like it's part of the logo?
