Ambient PRLogo Design Contest

Thank you for submitting logo designs to Ambient PR. I appreciate the time you've spent and like the direction of Entry #35. I'm wondering if you could modify it just a bit, as follows:

- Make the "A" in Ambient a more traditional "A"
- Remove the outline
- Change the color from orange to bright yellow (and another version in grey)

Hello again...I've extended the contest. I was wondering if you rework the designs as follows:

- #90 using the same font as #56 and switching the colors of the grey and fuscia. Also, I've liked the purple color in #89. Please use that color instead of the fusica.

- Also, in #56 can you remove the vertical line and substitute the purple color for the yellow?

- In #33, using the purple and grey color theme, can I also see a slight modification of the check mark so that its a bit less angular, softer and can I see it with and without the borderlines?

Thanks for the new changes! Looks great...

Hi again...meant to say...looks great but I was hoping to see the opposite --- the Ambient in purple and the PR in grey...Could I see #105, #107 and #108 with this color scheme too? Thanks, and that will it... Also, not sure I can detect the difference between #104 and #105? :-)

Hi there...really, really like the reworked designs, a lot! I like the Ambient PR in all purple either against the white or grey...trying to decide.

Can I see:
#125 -- can you make a thin outline in purple around the "PR" and the dash in "A" and possibly the dot over the "i"?

#123 -- change "PR" to purple

#123 -- change everything to purple and remove the box around PR and then add a grey shadow rectangle similar to what you did in #33

#104 -- change "Ambient" to purple

Hi there.. Great changes...I'm afraid I've seen to many designs in the past two days and don't remember what it was I wanted you to change in #33, so let's just ignore that! :-)

On #165, may I see the following:

- Can the check mark in the "A" be modified so that it is less angular? I'd like the check to not drop as low on the "A" as it is now. Perhaps it can begin a little below where the traditional line goes in the "A". Very hard to describe in words. And, can you make the "PR" grey? And, add a bit of grey border on the purple check mark. (By this I mean I like the purple check mark but would like a hint of grey on it.)

#169 design option

Hi there (what is your name?) -- Do I call you Slab 4??

So, I ranked your #169 in first place. I think this means that you and I can work for another 7 days to refine/modify the design. (Is that correct?) I find the written guidelines from the LogoTournament folks a bit confusing.

I really like the last round of changes made to #169. Do you use Skype? If so, is it possible we could schedule a brief conversation?

The aspect of the design that I would like to modify is the size of the check mark in the "A". It's a bit too stylized and bit too large. I'd like it a bit smaller so that it more closely looks like the line in a traditional "A" -- but still is a small check mark. I think the size now detracts a little from the word "Ambient". And, if the shape of the check mark could be a bit rounder, softer, that would be good. Also, please place the check mark a bit higher on the legs of the "A" so that the check mark is not touching the bottom of the design. Hope that's clear.

And, if it's possible to Skype...we can schedule a mutually convenient time. I'm in California on Pacific time...

I really glad that you like my proposal. But I really sorry, theres something I need to tell you. Unfortunatelly this site has rules that not allowing designer to have a contact with client outside the LT before the contest ended. But if you still need me to skype, you can ended the contest early & pick the winner, and then I'm allowed to contact you directly for much easier communication. No worries, I will provide you the revision as much as you want until you get the logo exactly what you needed. You can count on me :)

Thanks Andri...I'm getting input from another designer (can't work with him for a number of reasons) but he's giving me some input. He said I should stick to the #165 with the white background on the PR. He will likely have other input that I will pass along. So, am i correct that we have 7 days to refine the present logo? And, when you make changes, does everyone see them? Not sure how this works. I totally understand about the Skype call. Let's continue to keep connected this way for now...I'm looking forward to the next round of changes...Best, Vicky

Thank you for making the modification requested. I appreciate the time spent...

I'm not sure if this is permissible at this stage, but I would like to head in a completely new direction. After meeting with my creative team, it is felt that the direction my business and new website is heading in will not be best served with the logo choices I've made in the contest thus far.

With the above in mind, moving forward, i would like to see some other concepts that play on a more contemporary and stylish concept.

I particularly like the font and color scheme of the Anthropologie logo. Can you replicate this with the AMBIENT PR wording. In addition to the colors used in the Anthropologie logo which are brownish/cooperish, I'd also like to see this in black on a white background and white on a black background. {Note: this would mean putting the logo in all capital letters}

#174 -- Make the box around Ambient PR a bit smaller all the way around -- it looks like too large of a box now

#172 -- Can I see the same design in dark charcoal (not quite black) -- just curious how that would look

Hi Andri, thanks so much for the new changes. I actually like all the new designs! I'm really liking #179 and #172. I think 172 looks a bit "richer" but not sure...Need to discuss with some of the creative team further. On #179, I don't see the gradient change in color as much as #172. Can it be more pronounced? If not, I'm going to make a decision in the next day or so. I'm REALLY glad we headed in the new direction. If there's anything more that can be done in #179 to make the gradient more pronounced, please let me know. Very best, Vicky

Wow..#180 looks great!!! Okay, barring a negative feedback from the team, I will be choosing between #180 and #172. The bronze/brownish color is really "fresh and different". Just not sure. Do you have a preference?

Hi Andri,

Is it possible I could see #172 without the gradient effect -- all in one color? Probably the darkest color? And, if I judge #172 the winning design, could I also ask you to give it to me in the non-gradient version as well?

Also, do you do business card and e-signature layouts? If so, I'd like to talk to you about this when the contest is finished.
