Our Ideas & Additional Information
Attached are two business cards I use daily since I operate in two specialized fields of construction:
The flooding burning smoking house was added approx 12 years ago as people always seem to ask "what do you do?"
The "lower image" with GREEN SCROLLIE and Blocked "ALVIN L. DAVIS, INC." is the original sign template my DAD used since 1958 as it was a 24"x36" wooden sign cut out to the GREEN SCROLLIE with the cursive word "BUILDER" emblazoned on it at an angle. We also have realty company and used this same GREEN SCROLLIE on its sign with the word "REALTOR" across it. So, we have used the same scroll type looking sign for over 57 + years between the BUILDER/ REMODELER/ REALTOR look.
If your parent's rode around on Sundays looking at house they have seen this sign nailed to a tree when you could do that back in the day.

Keep a open mind on these comments as I have been looking at this green scrollie thing for the 55 years of my lifetime so that is why I keep bringing it up.

Choice 1 & Choice 2 give me my warm fuzzy feel of comfort. That dang Green Scrollie but maybe stretched to limit of business card layout format with just a small ,margin of white around the edge with water in lower 1/4 ; fire along the edges 1/4 to 1/2; then faint grey smoke along the top 1/4 to give some type of scale of reference.

I'd like to say "all perils" fire, smoke, water, wind, lightning, fallen trees but it get really busy fast, haha, but i have seen an adjusters add similar to that description.

Water damage is huge business more so than fire or smoke thus previous card supplied had overwhelming water emphasis along bottom.

Choice 3 maybe gray up or black; with a little more width to house. The green arc below house should turn into water running out of the house or ghosted over the company name and other info shown.

Choice 4 too much blue but interesting, smoke out the window? Cool hammer detail!!

I'll see if the other card folks can tell me the "remodeler" font used as it is very similar to the style used by the old hand painting sign guy from back in the day.

#1 (anOra) Can you put the green REMODELER font from #2 onto the design of #1 . This gives me my feel of old with a hint of 2017 newness (haha). Also #1, can I get a slightly more animated house maybe similar to my submitted card.( like #3) Also, the "IR/Remodel/Kitchen/Bath" line appears to me visually small (but almost perfect) can it be darken slightly or black and maybe one font size lager so it is easier for old people (like me) to see

#3 this is one concept I had envisioned in my mind but it looks uncenter with the Company name, etc. inside.....can water and fire house cover the inside of scrollie as kinda of faded/ghosted image with Company Name like my original submission?
