Hi. Should you choose my design, I can make any changes necessary - including changing it to whatever color you would like. I just wanted to show it on light and dark backgrounds.

Thanks for considering.

BTW.... I included the film strip to reference your TV and film work. It should also look like the side of a snare drum.

Wow, 11th hour really shines, I am liking these a lot. I have been consuming and filtering these logos all week, so let me get back to you on these, but this is top notch stuff, very intuitive to my message on many levels. Thanks for the great contribution

Thanks for your feedback. I have submitted a couple of revisions here - so in addition to the snare drum, the musical note and the film strip, the entire logo element is also more of an obvious 'letter A'.

I do think that as a professional instead of a corporate business entity that non-generic imagery is important to make your brand stand out and look totally unique. There are many excellent designers on this site, but I will just leave this comment as a friendly suggestion - serif fonts and generic elements actually do the opposite of making you look established. There are many 'gears', 'speech bubbles', 'swooshes', 'headphones' and other generic elements - even in this contest - so please just take that into consideration. Of course none of that matters if you are totally struck by a particular submission - but I thought that I would mention it.

I look forward to any further comments and let me know if you'd like to see any more revisions.

Thanks!

Yea I appreciate greatly your insights on it. I am considering it all now. I really like the last 2 revisions and seeing the logo more of an A, its very classy and pro and enough corporate to feel acceptable to corporate clients while still getting out the creativity of my business. You're deep Man Z! I don't know if you can read all the comments I have been leaving for folks, but I totally agree on the serif font thing, I have been asking every one of them to do more sans fonts and focus on the imagery ;-) so we are pretty well on-page. Thanks a lot for the work you have put into this, I just am going to take a few days now and let it sift and filter in me, the right and wrong-ness of each entry, and let it sit in. Overall I am feeling pretty strongly about yours and the last ones from Zelda, but I really need this week to let it all settle in. Ill be in touch soon! Thanks again

This latest entry uses a different - bold and sleek font - has a vertical orientation and additional lighting effects.

Can be in any color.

thx

I dont know if its still possible to submit on this but is there any chance you could make one last version of #89 with ALPS (only alps, leave media as is in 89) using the classy font from #87? I think this is what I am going to go with but I'd really like to see it. And if I pick yours would you be ok to give me in a few colors and one just black? And would you be able to give me or tell me the name of the font(s) used so I have a typeset I can use for easy application into various things? This is my first time doing this tournament so I dont know if thats considered ok or uncool, but as a struggling small creative business, and being a guy with enough photoshop and illustrator chops to implement good ideas (not enough to CREATE them, just implement ;-) it would be a super helpful thing to me establishing this company

Hi Chris. I've submitted some entries for you to look at. Yes absolutely, I'd be happy to give you the fonts and work with you after the fact at no additional charge to get the logo exactly as you want it.... with and without 'media', multiple colors and in horizontal and vertical orientations. None of what you're asking is considered uncool in any way. As a fellow musician and small business owner, I know how you need to get what you pay for! If you choose this design I'd be happy to give you my phone number and just work with you directly. I can offer business cards and high quality web design at reasonable rates as well if you ever need that. I have tons of local references here in Reno and am always available to my clients for any kind of graphic or web work. In fact, if I wasn't so busy, my own new portfolio site would be viewable at manzdesign.com. As it is, you can see I need to find time to finish it! Anyway... hope you like them.

Great! OK if you can slap the < media > from #89 on the black one ill put in my decision tomorrow. I dont know how important it is to vote for the one you actually intend to use, so id like the media in it. Otherwise really great stuff! Look forward to working out the details

Hey Chris.... glad you chose my design! I uploaded the files. Logotournament only allows upload of EPS and JPG for some reason. Please contact me at manzdesign@gmail.com and I will send you more useful files in additions in .AI, .PDF, .PNG ( transparency ) formats.

Also, we can go over colors and do a horizontal and vertical. We'll also do an all-black and all-white without the shadow underneath the logo in case you want to print it on a shirt or something.
