This is pretty cool. I'll tell you the same thing I told the guy currently in first. I like how this symbol kind of looks like the stripes on an army general's uniform. The stripes represent rank. We also want to convey rank, as in we're #1.

I also like the simplicity.

It also passes the test for being highly recognizable from far away, like if you were looking at it in someone's yard from your car.

cool looking. I just don't know what it is supposed to be. Like the black slash through there looks cool, but why is it there, what is it? You know what I mean?

I understand that the Greek symbol for Alpha is that fish-looking thing, but that kind of poses a problem.

1. We don't want it to look like a fish.
2. I don't think most people immediately associate that symbol with the word alpha. They probably don't know what it means, or they think it looks like the Jesus fish symbol thing.

So again, this looks cool visually, but I don't really see a strong connection between the symbol and the word alpha.

Now it looks like CK.

Maybe you can do something with the English letter "a" instead of the Greek symbol.

Now you've told me that, I effectively see the duck !

So, here are 2 new proposals, taht keep the overall design, but without the "duck face"!

From a strictly aesthetic point of view, I really like the way this looks, a lot.

The thing is, I just can't stop thinking it looks like a duck!

I'm serious, I wish I didn't see that. It's really nice looking, but I see a duck quacking at me. And if it is not a duck, its a fish. I'm going to still put you on the leaderboard though. Maybe you can make some change to make me not see an animal.

Nice job though, I'm not trying to be sarcastic.
