I think I like the one without the line at the bottom better because of the negative space it creates. I'm only putting this is the "not interested" column because I like the other better. I still like this alot, it'd probably be in 2nd place, but I don't want to put duplicates in there.
That's great to hear. I love that you are looking to brand yourselves as the top dog, as the alpha of the pack. I'm excited to be part of your logo design process.

I've been telling everyone that the most important test for these is the 100ft test. Like if I was driving in a car and saw this on a sign 100 ft away, would the image be highly recognizable and effectively burn itself into my mind.
Maybe we could toy around a little with making this a little bolder somehow. Everything might be a tiny bit thin for the 100ft test. Maybe the mark itself can be thickened a bit? Maybe the font? I don't know, it may not be any better, but not being bold enough may be the only possible criticism I could give this. I absolutely love it otherwise.
This is very cool. I just need to discuss this with my peers. It is a very close race. I am still very much undecided. Just because you may see this in the #3 or #4 spot, that doesn't mean it won't end up being the winner.
I really like how this kind of looks like an army badge. Like the stripes you get on your uniform that signify rank. WE TOO are trying to signify rank, like we are the top dog.
I also really like the very subtle symbol of the house/roof. I don't like the more literal designs. I wanted an abstract symbol, but the ever so subtle reference to the house is perfect.
As I am writing this, I am liking this more and more.... I think I'm moving you to #1
