same as comments in #254. perhaps put a line above the ADVOCACY...partership text or space it down so its not overwhelming. maybe separate out with a '|' for the text on the right? don't over do it with lines, but something to keep the letters from being too overwhelming.

not this one, the word mark is too small. other versions better.

actually this is the closest, but not quite what i meant, sorry.
1. words ADVOCACY LEARNING PARTNERSHIP should go under the logo ALP mark from the left under the key all the way to the far right. they should not be to the right of the logo mark rectangle.
2. word 'LODGING' should be space out or made larger to fit left to right

Hi there,
the board had a hard time visualizing the two colors in the letters. Personally I really liked it but they are asking all two tones letters be one color. Can you make the ALP one color solid from top to bottom, probably blue, and keep the grey roof line? obviously you will need some white space below the roof > shape to avoid close registry and get that clean look.

Also, can your redo the text "Association of lodging professionals" per the brief update, so that it is one font, with line 1 ASSOCIATION OF, line 2 "LODGING", etc, and such that the LODGING is big and more prominent. there are examples.

we like the concept of the door knocker . but this paticular one has a PROMINENT CROSS (the top)... it is way too religious. Can you modify? Maybe use one with a lions head knocker that is classic. or a hand shaped knocker (not moroccan moorish though)

I like the word mark as it is.. (the ALP) for now. PErhaps more comments in later rounds when the board reviews.

If you could post 1 version with the text stacked on the righ of the ALP 'association of lodging professionals' that may be useful. at this stage, I'm trying to narrow down each artists work to a few versions we like.

Are there any comments about fonts, colors, and layout?

As i posted on the contest just now, I'll be marking some of the logos as "not interested in" to narrow the field down a bit. I may reference an element of one logo marked " not interested" be used in another one.
