Hi Max, thanks for the update.
Can we see a version of the shield images in #178 but in this style (solid blue, no gradients, simplified).
Also, please color the black text either blue or gray....
I am adding a general update for ALL artists to the brief as well. please see update posted 1/21 on the brief
Hi Max.
ok, I know I mentioned the darned pineapple, but it needs to be reimagined.
take it apart and use different elements or get creative so that you hint at a hidden or subtle pineapple
For this design, can we see a version where the 'roof' is more modern, stylized or hints at it without being obviously a roof? more subtle. This shield with a 'chevron' is a classic heraldic design so it would intersting to see the modern version you are reinterpreting. Maybe have a version or two with one or two additional but subtle images from the brief (subtle being key). No one has used the pineapple well yet... they throw the whole thing at us, when perhaps just a hint of the pineapple tops or half or some element would do. keys and doors are also heavily used.
for simplicity, and as a board will be reviewing this most of whom don't have the first clue about design, please stick with the two colors in the brief (and white as a negative space)
Thanks for submitting. As per our brief, we will mark "not interested" versions that are duplicates or variations of your work when we focus on others.
