I'm not seeing the story / image behind the extra line added in this version in the A. and I've been wracking my brain...

can you tell me your thinking on this variation? I'd hate to dismiss it or mark prefers others just because I don't see the added imagery. thanks

ranking this one... please don't withdraw the recent ones you just submitted. I have to present finalists to the board and they may revert to a different version

also, ranking of the top artists is fluid for the next 48 hours.... Meaning if another artist doesn't deliver the updates or gets eliminated you could easily climb up.

Ok. I'm putting my comments here...
Please use #79 as your base, especially the P and how the "door" opens from the left of the P (not the right).

Maybe take the "roof line" from above this #198, the white > shape in the A, make it bolder, thicker and insert.

Please also layout the new revision per the updates I made on the brief today (text, layout, colors standardization)

I'm going to mark some of the logos as "prefers other" and will respond either on one logo or via message...

I really think your design has the potential to be one of the top but needs to be aligned with an older version you had (The P should not change).. I'll try to be more clear in a second.

can you use #79 as your base, then add the "roof" line under the A to that?
Also, maybe make the white roof line BOLDER. it needs to be visible if the logo is reproduced say 1 inch tall by 4-5 or so wide, and I don't think it will show.

we like the P and 'door' from #79. can you use that to start and then add to #79 any revisions

this seems to be based on your #137 which we marked as "prefers others" because the door on this doesnt work for us. We prefer your #79.

not exactly but headed in the right direction.
please keep the P and the door as in your original #79, we really like that.

For the A, we would like one version as above. Another version please with instead of a window, consider a more subtle way of showing a roof or other image, sticking with our two color blue/grey (or just one color for now, we can colorize later).

we like #79 font A/P better so keeping that version.

WOW you got the "subtle" part of reinterperting the imagery spot on. did you intend for the door to be there opening before the P? I see a door but most wont see it. we love that.

Can you keep as is, but provide a version with maybe a flame inside the A? something equally subtle to suggest a candle flame or a light? OR maybe take the A which looks like a roof, don't change it but make the ends on the lower portion (where the roof 'touches the ground' ) thinner to suggest a a tapering roof? or maybe something else equally subtle.

whatever you do, keep it subtle. So far you're winning on how subtle your design is. and with the board of 8 that have to decide, most don't want obvious imagery.
