I really like the changes you made, if she had on black shoes that would be great. I like what you did with the hair and the dress color is much better. I kinda wanted a lot of pearls you know how women are drapped in pearls liek the Audrey Hempburn breakfast at Tiffany's picture. Here is a link...like multi roles of pearls. http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Arts/Arts_/Pictures/2006/12/05/breakfast460.jpg. I like the font on #13 but I dont love the font. If you look at the font for the my pink button logo done by crayons on this site, I LOVE that fun, it really stands out, Im not saying i want that font but something that is unique and stands out like that. I think you are doing great and so far you are in the lead of this competition. Good Luck
About the pearls, it will be nice to have more but when you print the logo in small sizes you won´t see pearls but dots. You need to think about the functionality of a logo. Remember a logo is not a poster. A logo will be printed in small sizes for letterheads, business cards and envelopes. So think about that too :)
I LOVE the pearls drapped around her neck, can you seperate Dolled and Up, with a space. Also is it possible to drape the letters in pearls, like you have her drapped in pearls. Not sure if I like the pearl in the martini glass though, i like her complexion though.
Hi!, the font in my entry #24 for example. Too complex and "dirty". It won´t be very readable in small sizes. Maybe you can print them out in very small sizes (like the size you would use in a letterhead) and see how it looks. Remember this is the logo. It´s the way people will recognize the company. I think the logo should be as clean as possible, as readable as possible. Once you have a logo that is easy to read and memorable you can do whatever you want with other pieces like posters, banners or the tshirts. But for now you need to think about the functionality of the logo.
hahah. That´s not an original idea! It´s called Gestalt Theory! Why can´t I use a portion of the image? The same image was given to all designers. We can do whatever we want with it.
