I like entry #2 however I find the black background and font are too masculine. It's important that we appeal to our female demographic who are not really "into" the imagery of cars. For a woman who has to look after the maintenance of her car, entering a repair shop for the first time can be intimidating so we are looking for a softer approach.

Like #5..can you try an Ariel font and stack the words on top of each other, pyramid style?

I am a female co-owner of a repair facility with a a large female clientele. I am looking for a logo that appeals to women but is not overly feminine. We are looking for something a little fun and stylish but still suggests suggests that we are automotive. Hope this helps!

I've edited the contest brief to give designers a better idea of who we are. Please don't think of us as the 'average' automotive repair shop! I am a female co-owner of a repair facility with a large female clientele. I am *not* looking for a logo that suggests power, performance, throttle, octane, etc. as this is not our demographic. Although appealing to woman is very important we don't want anything that is too feminine either.

We serve the dad in his 40's whose dropping off his car on his way to a business meeting, the mom who's main car concerns are that it is safe and reliable so she can get her kids to school, soccer, etc, the single guy in his mid-to-late 20's who isn't interested in souping up his car anymore and is now focused on sticking to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

We are looking for something a little fun and stylish but still professional and suggests that we are automotive. Hope this helps and I look forward to the designs!

Thank you to all the designers for the amazing entries. The entries are professional and creative and so much more than I imagined we'd get from this site. It's going to be a very hard decision!

Please go to our web page at allaboutimports.com... perhaps this might help you see if your potential logo will fit well. I think logos with a black background may not.
