While this site is targeted to youths - the youths are teenagers. All the entries we got seem to be targeting too young - there should be no feeling of childishness in the logos - teenagers want to be adults so anything that
1. Currently versions are targeting too young. Consider that teenagers are striving to be adults and do not want to be viewed as children. So could we make these designs geared to appeal to youths who don't want to be seen as childish? Teenagers like "edgy", hard - not soft. All the designs were cute and cuddly, not edgy.
2. there is limited sense of movement in the current submissions despite our objective of action (=physical activity).
3. the word akshen comes from the phonetic spelling of the word action. i.e. if you look up "action" in a dictionary, the phonetic spelling is ac·tion noun \ˈak-shən\ Note here the upside down e. It would be nice if the design had an upside down e, as in the phonetic spelling.
4. Perhaps darker colors? so to get away from soft and more to edgy?
