This is almost exactly like our current logo. However, it doesn't change enough. It is extremely important that we keep a similar look but the new look needs to look quite a bit different. Think of the Apple logo when it went from rainbow to what it is today. It looks new, state-of-the-art, industry leader, etc. The logo that started with the rainbow apple remained similar but has a dramatically different feel. The shape might have slightly changed if at all but it looks much more modern and exciting. New colors could be interesting to see, some variation of our current colors could be nice too.
This one was picked as the top pick for now because I want everyone to read my comments here and not create logos so dramatically different.
#36 is looking great. I think we could do something with the letters though to give a new feel to it. I like the graphic in the background that looks like the sun. I think the triangles could look better though. A gold triangle represents the fruit of the tree which is how we make our money so we like the gold triangle.
#40 #41 #42 #43 have solid tree areas which is an interesting idea. That could be something that works for us.
I like some of the word art that was done on some of the others but none of those were the right fit.
A few ideas: in agriculture, what makes a plant grow is the sun,water, and soil. It would be interesting to see some ideas of how to incorporate at least sun and water (#36 gave a good start). I'm not sure if brown soil would be easy to represent, nor am I sure if it would look good.
The lettering or word art could still be somewhat traditional and conservative, but also new, refreshing, modern, etc.
The triangles in our current logo have very distinct edges and corners giving the whole logo somewhat of a blocked shape. It would be interesting to see some change there.
I like the sun idea because it makes the logo pop but it gives a citrus feel to it. We do grow some citrus but our main crops are almonds and pistachios.
Dalhazz, You've done a lot of great work but towards the end of the process your logs were voted out. We had 4 designers in the top 5 and wanted to bring you back in since you put so much work into this. We have one more day for this.
Please take a look at all the comments and try to incorporate your ideas. Please remove the sun (that was voted out).
