Can you make the logo pop more? It might be interesting to try to add some triangles in the same space and make the triangles a little smaller. I liked the 3-D look and that might still work but not when it looks so triangular.
bening, please do the following: In #210: use a lower case "L" use the following PMS colors: Yellow: 108 Green: 354 use the swoosh color from #142 and #144 get rid of "Farming Company"
We don't plan on asking for any more extensions. Tomorrow we will be making our decision.
Swoosh on the bottom: thicker swoosh (stronger) color - brown with some orange in it. should represent soil but still pop try different swooshes - try different shapes, maybe multiple swooshes, fading and changing colors, etc.
Tree: try different variations of green try twice as many triangles in the same space and in the same shape try anything to change the tree to make it more modern without completely altering the look
Letters: try more modern looking fonts without making it look futuristic try the "A" at the beginning of Agriland the old way with a color filling the space inside the A - the color could match the swoosh, or the tree, or the one different color in the tree on the lower case "L" we'd like to see a little extension like 166 or 224
Congratulations again. I see that this is your first win and we are delighted to see that. May you have many more victories ahead.
I just realized the contest is actually over in 7 days. I guess you don't officially win until all the edits are done. Assuming you do a good job, you are the front runner and we can work together to make sure all the edits fit our specifications. I am basically the in between guy for our company and you. There is a committee of about 10 people that are voting and were torn between you and heru. Let's make this work.
One reason some people really like heru's designs were because they really had a modern look, the fact that they seemed to shine gave him an edge. In the end, you won out but if you tried to make the logo shine in some cases, that would be really interesting to see.
One more thing, regarding the tree, feel free to change the color of the yellow triangle. In fact you could even try something to represent almonds or pistachios on the tree.
Please try some more fonts. We really like the lower case "L" that has a little extension like 254. These fonts are still classic looking. We need something more modern. Also we could have the lower case "L" be a different font all together to get the little curve at the bottom.
Please try adding some light brown triangles instead of gold. Maybe try changing 10-15 of the green triangles to a light brown to match part of the swoosh.
Please try changing the swoosh to a lighter brown maybe an almond brown still with the same concept.
bening, Please make the following changes: only use fonts from 207 and 270 only use the normal number of triangles use the swoosh from 254 try the normal A and the A filled with green use the green from 254 and the green from 210 only use a the yellow from our current logo
If my math is correct, I think that would equate to 36 entries
Also, as a separate item, please try to create furrows coming off the swoosh.
Thank you!
By the way, once we decide on a logo, we may want to print the logo in a variety of different colors on shirts, jackets, etc. We would like to have you change the logo's colors in a variety of ways for $50 assuming you win. My email address is sean@agrilandfarming.com
#304 - 20 logos #301 - 20 logos furrows - at least one logo but feel free to make more to give us other ideas
On all of them try to make the yellow stand out more. In other words make the yellow pop.
On #304, please keep that thickness on all of the following: - use a curved lower case "L" - use the main swoosh as in #298 - make sure the leg of the "g" goes at least to the bottom of the swoosh or past it a little - use both shades of green - use both A's (line and filled with green) - color the letters the following colors black, bronze, red, royal blue, gray
On #301 - use a curved lower case "L" and a straight lower case "L" - take out "Farming company" - make sure there's not too much space around the "L" - use both shades of green - only use the "A" with the line - color the letters the following colors black, bronze, red, royal blue, gray
Thanks. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, I'm emailing you an idea for the furrows.
Is it possible to do a live session with you online? When we have the meeting tomorrow, we'd like to invite you to be live with us so if we want to see a small change we could tell you what we want and you could change it right there.
Scratch that last email. You don't need to do every color for each one. That is just too much. We should be able to get an idea from the below
#304 - 8 logos #301 - 8 logos Just give one example for each of the additional colors - see below. But please make each of the designs with black letters as well. On all of them try to make the yellow stand out more. In other words make the yellow pop.
