Off to a great start. I really like the way the concepts of water (or air)/soil/plants has been worked into the first three entires.

I wonder if anyone can work a lynx (as in the cat) motif into the logo? May be too complicated, but I'd love to see an attempt. (Although I do like the fact that the first entries are very flexible...if we end up changing the name of our site/service we can still use these logos. So we don't necessarily want to see the lynx concept in every entry).

An other concept to consider incorporating is the idea that the tool can be used on mobile devices. Anyone have an idea for incorporating some type of wireless/mobile/telecommunications concept?

Thanks again! Keep up the great work!

Lots of great ideas here. Thanks to all the designers who have submitted proposals so far!

Many of you have incorporated a leaf as a dominant motif. I wonder if someone would try taking the leaf and turning it into a lynx ear. The lynx ear is tufted (see for example http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/agarman/canlynx.htm), so one concept would be to make an ear shape with the tuft made out of, say, a head of wheat or shoots of grass. Not sure how it would look, but would be interesting to try!

Thanks again! We look forward to more great entries!

Thanks for the recent proposals! I've had to put some of the variations we are less interested in into the "Thanks But No Thanks" pile to keep things organized, but we certainly appreciate every submission and your responsiveness! Looking forward to more ideas in the closing days of the contest!

These are starting to really take shape! Couple of notes:

1. We've modified the tagline to: "Simple. Scalable. Secure." Please update/create new logos accordingly.

2. Still looking for a more concrete visual on the "lynx" concept... the soil/plant/farm and the tech/wireless conceptualizations are looking good.

Thanks all!

As this contest winds down, we just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all the designers who participated. The amount of talent on display here is quite extraordinary.

We will select the winner in the next two days.
