AEPONYX = Active Ethernet over Passive Optical Network using Lambda Multiplexing ...

Basically, we take 40 Ethernet connection. To each of them, we associate a colored laser.
We take the 40 different colored lasers and we mix them on one single fiber for a distance of 20 to 60 kilometers.
At the other side, we separate the 40 colors back an distribute them to 40 customers (businesses or mobile antenas).

By doing this, in increase the transport capacity by a factor of 40
