I have received several good entries based on the information below. But I would also like to open up the contest and see what you will come up with on your own (disregarding the information below). I would like to see the different logo ideas you have given freedom to create anything you like.


I was thinking of using a blue shield with a diagonal yellow stripe like a family crest with a black horse (leaning toward silhoutte of head) on top of that.
I like the Trajan Pro or Papyrus type font.
I want to incorporate these words:
Line 1: Aegis Insurance Agency
Line 2: A Dark Horse Insurance Group Subsidiary
