I *will* push it more if you would like, but to me the power in the typography comes from the dramatic contrast between the very heavy "aim" and the much lighter "fine print" (as it were <g>) of your firm's full name. Oh, and I also added a very thin white line between the shamrock and the rising sun - mostly to make it more legible for this site's low resolution image. It doesn't necessarily need it for print or in a slightly higher resolution web image. 16 years ago miyaharaflynn Client #35 and #36 : I'll take these back to see which font they like better. Several have remarked they like the shading on #10, and if the concept is chosen would like #10 for letterhead and #35 type for vehicles. 16 years ago saturninus Logo Designer squeezed and pummelled a little bit more...(This comment references Entry #38) 16 years ago saturninus Logo Designer Thanks for the feedback. I think the shading is nice, too, but it's a difficult thing to pull off successfully when one is working with such low resolution web images. The print quality version is quite elegant with that hint of shading. Here it just looks muddy mostly. Although you can catch a marked difference between the thumbnail and the pop-up version. 16 years ago miyaharaflynn Client #10 Is it possible to take this design with the shading, push the font a bit more on the full name like #36 or #38, and add in the "llc" We all agree the #10 would look better on the web, and probably in print. 16 years ago saturninus Logo Designer #68 - as per your request... 16 years ago miyaharaflynn Client #68 is a nice, refined, finished product, and a definite finalist 16 years ago miyaharaflynn Client I have had the conslutation with partners, and I thought you might want to know what interested them so far. First, making sure that AIM or aim is present in addition to the full company name. Second, the color red. Third, a catchy enough icon or logo that could be printed on a business card without being lost or overwhelming the necessary business information. These were the subjects constantly repeated while reviewing designs. I hope I this information helps. 16 years ago
