What We Do
Businesses use us to find private people who are willing to put an ad on their personal or commercial vehicle. Our logo needs to communicate that people will get paid for placing the ad on the vehicle and direct people to our website (in process) AdPuddy.com. We were thinking like a cartoonish sort of hand slapping putty containing our name on glass or something along those lines, but defer to your expertise.

Media
Color Preferences
We want something that catches the eye and is highly visible, so colors like red, blue or black come to mind.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Our intention is to get a logo that exemplifies our "product". We were thinking of a cartoon sort of hand with putty being slapped onto glass with AdPuddy.com in the hand or something like a hand holding a plate that says AdPuddy.com on it. I think the movie Fight Club had something like this on their poster.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

My next ranking is planned for 12 noon (USA PST) tomorrow, Monday 6/27. Please get your submissions in.

Remember, we're looking for something that:

- targets younger drivers, say under 35
- is highly visible
- communicates our company (fun, easy, catchy, effective, eye-catching, etc.)
- is simple, but bold, only a few colors, easy to read
- is something that people would not mind putting on their car

Of the entries received, the 1st one was ranked first because it does all this and communicates that you are sticking onto something with the "splat" around the "Puddy". The "Stick it" is understated. The 2nd and 3rd ranked are also very good. They are all eye-catching. The 2nd and 3rd are a little more sporty looking.

Thanks to those who have submitted entries thus far. We are looking for more entries!

Great job by all, here are some general comments:

The 1st and 2nd ranked are very close in my book and I go back and forth. I like the simplicity of the 1st design, but like the boldness and flexibility in terms of color schemes on the 2nd. The different ideas in terms of sticking mechanisms, splat v. post-it v. vertical sticker v. horizontal sticker are great. I'm curious to see what else you come up with. I like that all designs are sticking to only using a few colors.

A couple of the designs are a little hard to read given the colors used (# 6 the "stick it" is sort of tough and # 7 the "ad" is sort of tough). It's very important that the design sticks out and is easy to read. Our intent is to put it on cars, which may be any number of colors, so people driving or passing will have to see the design and recognize it in a very short period of time.

I'm asking a few other people to take a look at the designs and provide some input also, so we will see what they have to say too.

All-in-all, nice job!
Thank you for the designs. Keep them coming!

Keep up the good work!

These designs are terrific and AdPuddy really appreciates the work you've put into them.

Ranking these is more difficult than I expected. You probably will notice that designs that are higher ranked really accomplish a few things:

1) They are eye-catching, bold, and vibrant.
2) They are clean and simple.
3) Both 1 & 2 equate to being noticed even with a quick glance.
4) They tend to make you want to investigate further.

I think we prefer the solid colors over the blending or shading too. We think It helps the reader distinguish content.

Hope that helps, thank you so much.

Wow! Great job to all of you and thank you so much!

We are having a tough time distinguishing between the top 10 or so. Even some of those that I placed in the "not interested" category were really well done, but either too similar to something already ranked or a little hard to read, so it was more done as a way for us to manage those being ranked.

We may use more than one, so I'm not sure how that works. We initially were looking for a logo, but also see some terrific ideas for ads that we may want to use, so stay tuned.
